management horrible
I called the office about a lease renewal issue twice. they seemed understanding on the phone and told me they would forward it to the manager. the manager was supposed to get back to me in in 2 or 3 days. i haven't heard anything in 2 weeks.
the lease issue was the office forwarded me a lease renewal offer which had my name and and another name. i have lived alone here for 2 years, always paid rent on time and my prior leases had been under my name only. I asked them to correct the issue... before the lease expired. they did nothing. i signed the lease but it was never forwarded to the office. now the office told me i am on month to month at a much higher rate.
it is common sense to have a tenant on yearly lease rather than month to month. the only benefit is i only have to give 30 days notice before moving out which i might do. the office has been closed since covid so nobody can talk to an agent in person. they might have done this to put me at a much higher rate to make up for their high vacancy rate. who knows but i am suspicious.
