DO NOT RENT HERE
Here is my official review, and I mean this sincerely. That apartment was the worst decision. The water was disgusting, the neighbors were mean, the carbon monoxide nearly killed us several times, and the squirrels lived in the walls and woke us up all the time. Our heat didn’t work approximately 6 times, it was dark, dated, smelled bad, had black mold, constant power outages, and maintenance never replaced lightbulbs or detectors in common areas. The constant chirp of a fire detector outside... our door was so much fun!! The trees ruined my car because of the acorns and sap that dripped on it. I constantly was having to clean it up. You do not have assigned parking, so neighbors and their guests that do not live there would always take your parking space.
I feel like everyone should see this and never rent from them!
I additionally think it's important that you know we are working professionals. We paid our rent on time every month for three years and eight months. I have a master's degree, and my fiance is the director of his department. Unlike our neighbors, we never had a party. They woke us up with loud music and partying many times. We dealt with the smell of marijuana throughout our place too many times to count.
The manager in the office changed so many times I could not keep up. They, however, were all fairly consistently rude and unhelpful. One of them even said to me once, "trust me; you would never want my job". You would think that when we asked to negotiate the final few months of our lease agreement because we had finally been able to save enough to buy our home that they would have been kind and met us at least halfway, but they did not. In fact, they made us pay for this apartment for an additional 4 months, and we did not even live in it. So essentially, we spent $4,000.00 for an empty apartment.
