Management is terrible

The maintenance of the apartments has gone down for the past 42 months we have been here. Door security systems fail to work properly, they don't do anything near the interior maintenance they did, we've been told to not contact them unless the required work was "critical".

The first response out of the offices is look to charge you with a fee.

Costs continue to rise, and services are contracting.

They spray the grounds with chemicals, at the same time they purport themselves to be animal...
friendly. We've asked every year for them to leave the tenants a way to walk our dogs in an area that isn't treated, but they won't (using alternate sides of the street).

Common areas - hallways, elevators - are stained. A cart for taking your groceries was out for a month without being replaced.

When we started, they'd replace light bulbs and pick up the garbage as part of the costs. Today they won't come into the apartments to do things like bulbs, and there is a mandated cost for garbage pickup.

We've asked for recycling; no go.

I would think long and hard about staying here.

I love it here

HI, I have lived here at Dockside for 8 months now and love it. I have moved from a 4 bedroom home and was a bit worried that there would be a lot of noise. But I have not heard any sound at all from any neighbor. The pools all summer were great. The office management staff are so responsive and nice. I have not had any service needs . LOVE it here .

Put Up Or Shut Up

The apartments are nice and some of the biggest you can get around here. That having been said the management is awful. The landscaping and snowplowing is shoddy at best. You'll receive numerous emails reminding you of what you can't do or what you have to do according to the one-way lease. If you complain about something they just shrug it off and say oh well we can't do anything about it. The rent goes up substantially every lease period. Eventually the average person can't afford to live here... anymore. If they don't provide what they are supposed to (i.e. pool open, lawn mowed, gym open or snow removed) there's nothing you can do about it. They have it written into the lease that you have no recourse. When you ask about something they just get crabby with you. Like I said, the apartments themselves are not bad but if you can find something with better management I'd recommend it.

Solitary Confinement

If you are a well-connected retiree or a married mom or dad looking for an exclusive school district for your kids, this might be the place for you. If you are single with no kids, you can expect to spend your time at home in solitude, since running into your neighbors is virtually impossible the way the "community" is set up.

Paper thin walls and not helpful staff

All the walls are paper thin and all upstairs apartments are 2-3 bedrooms. They allow 2 people per room meaning 4- 6 people in upstairs apartments with paper thin floors/walls. When notified of excessive noise and banging, the staff told me that there was nothing they could do after reaching out twice with no response.
