Disapointing

There is not enough lighting on the property. It is practically pitch black at night and there is absolutely no lighting over by the dog park. The dog park fence is broken in multiple places and signs are falling off the fence. The landscaping continues to look worse each year. The office is closed half the time when it is supposed to be open. It used to feel like a community where they would decorate and have different events and now they barely do anything.

Unprofessional Management

Office is not opened at stated times. Things around the property are falling apart and not being fixed. Maybe if they had a property manager who actually came to work for more than a few hours a day, if that, things might actually get done.

Terribly managed

Terrible communication, amenities that you pay for not available, they start projects that they never finish, property manager who can't be bothered.

I loved living here!

I lived here just over two years before buying a home. My time at Village II was wonderful. I loved my apartment! The community is great, and the staff are amazing. I am so grateful to have lived here during a difficult transition in my life, and so happy to have had such a great place to heal through my separation and divorce. Thank you for providing such an incredible location.

Can't wait till my lease is up

This is a terrible place to leave. The windows are not adequately sealed so it's always too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Especially during days with high winds where it felt like we were waking up to a 50 degree bedroom. They don't block sound either so we constantly get woken up by people talking loudly in the early morning and sometimes the middle of the night. The pipes are bad. They back up frequently and we've had to use our toilet plunger on our sink and bathtub. They're... also incredibly loud. We can hear it when our neighbors use their pipes. Our roof got a terrible leak this spring and it wasn't fixed right the first time. It took the roofer so long to come back out that my roommate had to deal with having buckets on his floor to catch the leak for almost 3 weeks. No compensation of any kind was offered, of course. Neighbors are inconsiderate. They park in no parking areas, making it hard to get through the parking lot. We stopped using the laundry machines here because one set of neighbors would leave their clothes in the one dryer and/or one washer that is in the building for hours, then get mad when we moved them-respectfully either into the dryer or on top of the dryer where it's clean-because we had to do our laundry. They would open the doors of the machines while we had our clothes in, stopping the cycle and making our laundry take longer. Our next door neighbor has a cat and a dog that she doesn't pick up after. Her apartment smells so strongly of animal waste that you can smell it from the hallway, and we have to walk by her door to get to our apartment. At one point she was even leaving bags of trash with animal poop in it in the hallway, which we had to walk over/around to get to our apartment. Management was aware of the problem, but she still got away with doing it for weeks. In short, don't rent here. Especially for the prices they are offering now.
