Crazy place

They have sold this building to a new company, and many things have changed. The woman who is in charge of the management 9/10 times has given me incorrect info about everything. The online rent payment requires you to pay a crazy convenience fee. Windows do not close all the way, so you’ll freeze in the winter. You’ll imagine in a brand new building like this you’ll find young professionals- wrong! Lots of old folks living there who will give you a hard time about just everything. There’s a... resident who owns an aggressive pitbull (yeah, why is this even allowed ?) the pool is tiny and 4 ft deep. Heat is not included. Floors make lots of noise as you walk.

RUN!!!

Other websites say this place has a doorman and that is false. The building is not very secure (front door often doesn’t lock unless you push it shut) and the trash chutes were constantly off or broken, with dumpsters overflowing in the garage. I hear now they have limited hours on the pool. When I lived there the Peloton bike was down for months and they “considered” renewing the subscription even though we all paid an amenity fee. Increased parking by $50 a month for what?

Old management was...
way more flexible and responsive and actually gave us what we paid for. New mgmt constantly sent rude emails to residents over every little thing. Made minor nonsense changes instead of fixing big problems. The only person I liked was the maintenance guy Mario. Glad I did not renew here.

Don’t make same mistake!!

Let me start by saying the parking lot is very small and limited. You will more than likely have to park on the street as I had to and you can bet you will have a parking ticket every single morning. The place looks great at a quick glance and makes you think your getting a great luxury apartment. The floors in the apartment were so uneven and crooked. The side trim on kitchen cabinets falls off by themselves as it is very cheap material. The heat is horrible! Never gets to actually blowing warm... . Our washing machine from day we moved in had an odor and almost mold like substance inside it. The windows in the apartment would not shut 100% of the way so constant wind noise and rain coming in at times during heavy storms. The apartment was repainted before move in, to which all they did was put primer on the walls and left sanding dust everywhere. Very unprofessional, cheap job.

To sum this up, looks great but far from great by any means.

We rented for 1 year, after first month we couldn’t wait to get out!

Spend your money elsewhere

Where do I start? The tiny pool that is no more than 4 feet deep requires a lifeguard for management to open it. Management doesn’t pay for a lifeguard to be there for more than a few hours a day. The “dog park” that is described out front is no more than a grass-less patch on a steep hill. The building isn’t made well, so you’ll have to call management for several issues that they will ultimately blame on you.

This is home for me!

Man o man where do I start, once you come into the building you feel a strong sense of community. My experience from the realtor showing me the property to the amazing location in Port Chester! This is the best building in town, the residents are young professionals. The building is very pet friendly, the property manger, maintenance manager, and account manager are very professional and super dependable. I am happy to be living in a such a great environment, I cannot ask for a better living... arrangement. I have seen all of the apartments here and highly recommend you come in for a tour, you are missing out!
