Dump zero stars

To pay as much as you do this place is a dump. It’s dangerous . Little to no security cameras. People are breaking in the front door of the buildings. Stealing packages. Beer bottles at the back of the building trash in the parking lot. You get charged for water and trash. Broken concrete in the parking lot. No parking spots. Extremely loud environment if your working from home. Prices are extremely inflated. I will be moving fast. Zero stars.

Property Manager at East Ridge Manor Apartment Homes responded to this review

Hi Ms.Carroll,I'm very sorry you feel that way but as you know the whole community is currently under construction and the large trailers are taking up quite a few parking spaces. The trash is picked up daily but unfortunately we do our best to pick... up after the actual construction workers an sometimes it is hard to keep up. The break in the asphalt is scheduled to be repaired as well as the broken glass in the door it has been measured and ordered. We are doing everything to remedy the problems. Thank you for your concern.

DO NOT RENT

The office staff is incompetent, highly unprofessional, and blatantly disrespectful. I have addressed multiple issues that went unresolved, as detailed below. The lack of response and the office staff that thinks its appropriate to call and yell at a tenant over the phone while they are working is the exact reason why I wish nothing more then the entire plunge of financial success on this company.
Damage to my vehicle (scratch to the rear end of the vehicle bed, glass bottles shattered behind...
my vehicle and left uncleaned for 2 days) Noise disturbances (I.E. Car alarms going off for an extended period of time, screaming kids and stomping/pounding at 11pm – 4 am causing damages to my property from things falling off the shelves, loitering in the common area hallways, blasting music from other units, blasting stereos in the parking lot)
Electric breakers flipping off power to upper units and left unrepaired, causing multiple calls to maintenance that never showed or could not be fixed. Door handle at bottom security door broken for weeks, causing us to be unable to unlock the door from the outside or open from the inside, which is a fire hazard if rear exit is blocked
ENTIRELY unsafe environment, as I have been followed up to my unit before with someone attempting to cause harm, on multiple occasions! Call for mold was made to the maintenance crew, whom came in and painted/puttied over it and advised me to "open a window, so moisture doesn’t get trapped". Basement area floods and causes the potential for fire hazard with wires laying all over the place and mold to occur
Original move in inspection had note of damages to the floor tile in the bathroom, as well as linoleum flooring in main area lifting or nails poking through which have caused injury to feet, and windows that were not balanced causing the potential to fall out or not be opened at all and unable to be locked or unlocked.
Walls are PAPER thin, pray to heavens that you do not get rude neighbors or you get told "You live with 7 other tenants" and THAT is a method of resolution to them. Required to pay for water/sewer in our unit, but 2 neighbors on the same water tank making it, so all hot water is gone when they shower or use their running water at the same time. Mishandling of my PERSONAL IDENTIFYING INFORMATION (unmasked social security number and full name and DOB laying in an unsealed envelope with a copy of my lease in the middle of the hall with no locked security door)

East Ridge Manor

Being within walking distance of Wegmans and other stores is really convenient. The "backyard" horseshoe that wraps around the complex is great for having outdoor activities.

I visited the complex and reviewed a one bdrm.

The room was really nice, clean, and spacious. I am downsizing from home ownership so I am looking for a place that is not too 'busy' or 'congested' and this place seems like it is both due to the number of apartment complexes.
