Renter Beware

Property management has a high turnover rate. Maintenance is mostly non-skilled workers. Prospective renters beware.

Not impressed with staff

Nice looking apartments but I got unlucky enough to work with bad staff. While touring, there seemed to be some confusion on the leasing agents end when I asked about their qualification requirements but I overlooked that. I sent in an application so I could be added to a waitlist. Several days later and I hadn’t heard anything from them about if I had been added correctly, so I emailed the office. Several days went by again and no response. I called and left a voicemail during office hours, no... call back. A week went by and I emailed and called again and got nothing. I then realized that my online application had been denied. I called again and left another voicemail and was finally able to get a call back. The leasing agent was unable to tell me why I was denied. He said he’d send me a copy of my application so I could make sure everything was correct and told me I had to reach out to the credit and income screening company. This was all over a month ago and I am still trying to fix my screening since they obviously ran my credit and income wrong or got me mixed up with a different person. The leasing agent never sent me a copy of my application and they have never reached out to me again. I meet the qualifications to be able to rent but they obviously are not interested in getting apartments rented. This is very disappointing. I also have a perfect credit score and do not appreciate this mixup.

Leasing Office and Maintenance is a Joke

Beautiful looking community and it’s quiet.
However, leasing office is disorganized and they don’t know how to respond nor read emails in their entirety. Put in a maintenance request and waited three months before someone came out (they also remove the request from tenants view after 30 days so good luck mentioning escrow payments).
Landlord specialed everything in the apartment prior to move in, nothing was cleaned properly (mold on the windowsills and showers, air filter hadn’t been changed...
in months and was black with dirt, under the refrigerator had a lot of pet hair, dirt, and food pieces under it, same as the washer & dryer). Missing part of the fake, vinyl floor board under a cabinet - looks like laziness, as if they didn’t feel the need to cut a three inch piece to fit. Trash only gets picked up once a week, with three buildings using one set of dumpsters.
Mail lady is super sweet, though.

Terrible apartment do not move here

Where do I start . The pool got shot up causing it be closed for 6 weeks in the summer . Half the units AC is out causing an insane delay in anything else that needs repaired . Our dryer has been broke for a week and a half with no estimate as to when it will be fixed . Will never sign another lease here

Lots of issues AND ROACHES since DAY 1, and terrible response from management

Haven't lived here that long, and have had nothing but problems. The day I got my keys, the kitchen had rice on the floor and in some of the cupboards, yellow stains, AC was making a weird squeaky rattling noise. Put it into the form that you fill out if there is anything wrong. Dishwasher wasn't properly installed and water overflowed out of it, and water was all over the floor and under stove. As I took the stove drawer off to get the water underneath, there was garbage stuffed underneath the... stove. The rice and garbage is probably the reason for the next issue. ROACHES AND LOTS OF THEM. Before an exterminator could come in (they only come in on Tuesdays), I caught over 30 roaches. 5 rounds of treatments every other week, and basically having my entire kitchen and bathroom in my only bedroom, over 50 roaches. Not sure if they treat other apartments, but I guess I have to wait and see if I see anymore. Bathtub faucet shot off, and couldn't use my shower for 2 days. Microwave had buttons that didn't work. Maintenance put a different microwave in. I wasn't expecting a brand new microwave, but if you are going to use a old microwave, at least clean it before installing. It had food crumbs on the bottom and soup stains. AC is on a fritz. One minute it will work normal, then the next it will act like it's on but no air coming out until my apartment is 5-6 degrees above, causing my AC work even longer and harder to cool down the apartment. Which is probably going to spike my electric bill. In 3 months, I have had 5 visits from the exterminators and 4 from maintenance, with a 5th on the way to replace a coil on the AC. Also, I was supposed to have a fireplace. There isn't one. Talk to my leasing agent, she says she will talk to management to discuss getting my rent taken down. It did not go down, because apparently something in their system says it doesn't have a fireplace. My paperwork says it does. I asked for new updated paperwork that says that for my safekeeping, both to my leasing agent and manager, I haven't gotten anything. Recently just had a sit down meeting with the manager to discuss all these issues. Basically, the response was, "We're sorry, we'll do better next time." Like seriously, that's the best you can do. That isn't that reassuring. There shouldn't be a next time.

Your concerns regarding AC functionality and missing fireplace features are certainly valid, and should have been addressed timely and effectively.Regarding documentation discrepancies concerning your fireplace, rest assured that this will be looked into as it would only be fair for you to have clarity on your lease conditions. We realize saying "we'll do better next time" might sound empty at this point, but please know we genuinely strive for improvement based on feedback like yours. Again, I apologize deeply for all of these inconveniences.
