Don't walk RUN AWAY from this place

The place is falling apart from every direction. They are outrageously overpriced. The on site laundry is a joke the machines are old and barely work. Crime is a problem especially at night due to lack of lighting. The landscape crew they hire will steal from your porch and damage your vehicle and they do nothing about. Enjoy having your walls shake from your neighbors playing loud music. This place is absolutely horrible stay far away. For what you pay you can do so much better

Wonderful Surroundings!

My son lived at Woodland Apt for 1 year. It was his first apartment so the office manager told him he needed a co-signer. I gladly co-signed for him. Everything was fine, He probably paid on time every month, then his lease expired and he moved out. That is when the drama started. The people in the rental office called him and told him he needed to pay an additional $75. My son never got back with them to pay the $75. Now at this point, anyone and everyone knows that a co-signer (ME!) is to pay... it. However, the head office manager NEVER contacted me to inform me to pay the 75 one-dollar bills! Instead, she passed my name and my son’s name on to a Debt Collection Agency-which is bad for a person’s credit! After the Debt Collection Agency called me and I settled the matter, I went to confront her about this. I ask her why she did not simply pick up the phone and ask me for the measly $75. Her replies were-in my view, nothing but well-rehearsed excuses and alibies. All I wanted was a simple apology but she stubbornly refused. If you are considering moving here, my advice is this. A) Any questions you have, write them down ahead of your interview time with the office staff so that when you ask them your questions, record on your iPhone their replies so that you can transcribe their words and make them sign your contract before you go signing all of their contracts! B) After you move out, arrange to go with the person into your apartment where you lived that is inspecting it so that you can challenge every idem they decide to see as needing you to pay for. Other than that, the apartment complex is a wonderful, safe and nice place to live!

Not worth the time.... Zero starts if it were possible

Husband and I lived there for 18 months in hope of saving money to buy a house. Our roof leaked in the winter and everything, including wooden heirlooms from my husband's grandfather, were covered in water. As such, we had to wait until spring to have the rood repaired and invested close to $500 in plastic containers, storage unit costs, etc. to protect our memories from more damage. Our living space was drastically reduced as everything had to be in our apartment until we could get into a... unit. Husband and I tried to explain the frustration and pain in the @$$ this has caused us, but their response (from the district manager) was he could reimburse us up to $200 as the Owners of the property could not understand why we would be reimbursed for spending the money and enduring six months of limited living space until the roof could be replaced. I would seriously reconsider this complex, even for the price they offer unless you enjoy waking up to the US Marshals and Columbus PD carrying assault rifles and combat shotguns at 7 am as Management allowed a felon with domestic violence charges and multiple other charges into the complex and the agencies had to smoke the felon from his attic. If you care for your safety and that of your family, STAY AWAY!!! Anything is better than this complex, trust me...
