WORST APARTMENT EVER

Where do I begin?.. Well let's start off when we moved in May of 2021. First, the shower in master bathroom had a piece of wood behind the knob covering a hole which they promised to come fix (they never did) eventually mold began growing.. By June our AC had went out which lead to water leaking everywhere which wouldn't be a big deal if 1. They didn't take a week to show up. 2. I was 7 months pregnant and they put 1 small window ac unit in. The trash compactor is/was always full. The pool is... hardly open during the summer and truly disgusting. Then last summer (why we stayed another year idk) our washer and dryer stopped working. Maintenance told us to use a vacant apartment's until they could fix it.. which then the leasing office yelled at us and had a terrible attitude because we were "breaking rules" although we literally were told by their employees to do this... now.. here we are February almost a year later after moving out of this horrid place and I get an alert my credit score decreased... they charged but NEVER sent the bill from not painting 1 room back. Understandable to have to pay the fee but what's not understandable is not even being notified of the bill. 0/10. I understand wanting to live in Gahanna, however there's better places for the same amount.

Slow response times to any maintenance request, not fixed properly

I have lived in this community for almost 3 years now. The maintenance is awful. I have had the fan for the HVAC running for 2 months now. I requested them to fix a leaky window it was done incorrectly at least twice and a leaky ceiling (or leaking in the apartment above) was not fixed correctly at least 3 times. If it weren't such a hassle to move I would not live here.

DO NOT LIVE HERE

I honestly don’t even know where to begin with this place. We had issues throughout our lease, starting the first day we moved. First, they gave us the wrong apartment number, so all of our utilities were listed for an apartment that wasn’t ours. We even walked into someone else’s apartment when we went to move in. There’s a mice problem. There were nights where our cat was catching 3 - 5 mice every night for 2 months. We told the office and they did nothing. They told us it was normal because... we were near woods. It wasn’t until months later when we kept pressing them to do something that they sent someone in to put poison out. You can hear everything in these apartments. Our neighbor constantly blasted music at all hours of the day AND night. We constantly asked him to stop, we told the office, and they of course didn’t do anything. We were on the first floor, so every time our neighbors came stomping down the stairs, our walls would shake. The office is incredibly unorganized and unresponsive. We told them that we had major water damage on our bathroom ceiling when we moved in, to the point where the ceiling was hanging low and holding water - their way of fixing it was to paint over it. We had to make multiple work orders before they came in and cut huge holes in our ceiling in an attempt to fix it. For months, we showered under a gaping hole covered by a tarp while they waited for an outside company to come fix the mess they made. During those months, the ceiling was still leaking so we’d come home to see that dirty disgusting water from our upstairs neighbors had gotten through the tarp and ended up in our bathroom. Our a/c was broken for months because they didn’t believe us when we said it was broken at first. They told us we needed to “let it run” even though it was pushing out hot air. After months of pushing and being ignored, they finally came to look at it and said it was so broken that they would have to just replace the entire unit. The apartments are old, broken down, and in desperate need of renovation and repairs. The trash compactor is always full and overflowing with trash. The people working in the office don’t care enough to do their jobs properly. Maintenance constantly came in without notifying us beforehand even after we repeatedly told them not to. This is the absolute worst place I have ever lived in. There is nothing redeeming about this complex. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

AGREED DON'T MOVE HERE

Apartments are old and overpriced for what you get. As others have said the trash compactor is constantly full and overflowing and the people here are dirty. Constantly dog poop and trash everywhere. There is another review commenting about it being quiet, well it's not anymore. Constantly people blasting music just parked at all hours. The vent system must be screwed up because I can smell what my neighbors are cooking and smoking.. Only positive is that I've never heard my neighbors.

The...
leasing office staff is not organized. I cannot wait for my lease to end.

Terrible!!!

This apartment is not worth the money! The screen doors never stay on, going on two years living here and last year the pool was may be open five times. Pools normally open on Memorial Day and it’s still not open here and it’s June 18. The trash is ridiculous it’s constantly overflowing and trash is everywhere. I will not renew my lease again. I try to call the leasing office and no one ever answers. It’s just definitely not worth the money!!
