Expensive and low quality experience
The listing price does not include the ~50 monthly water fee, which increases by ~$2 every 4 months.
PTAC heating system is inefficient and expensive.
The bedrooms of many units are on the other side of another unit's living room.
The walls are lined with stained, peeling industrial wallpaper. The non-carpeted areas are lined with wallpaper flooring that tears and indents in ordinary use.
There is no security deposit, because you will be charged a la carte for whatever they like when you... leave. There is even a list of items and related prices provided after you sign the lease. I have not moved out yet, but the implications are quite clear based on these factors.
The office does not respond to maintenance requests, even those that are intended to prevent or limit damage.
If you spray a perimeter with insecticide you won't have too many pests, but under the kitchen sink the crawlspace is covered loosely with plywood and the doors are not tight fits, so they will have ease of access in at least these two locations.
Ultimately, the choice is yours, but I was not aware of these factors and I think they are certainly important to consider.
