perfect first apartment if you’re expecting a lot

It's an okay first-timer apartment. The pictures that are posted first show what the inside of all the apartments looks like. It's nothing like the model apartment.
The apartment looks great except for the fact that it should look like the model unit for the price. New management and new coworkers are revamping the place, but other than the look it's great.

Do NOT recommend

Management team is lazy. One day I called the office 13 times and they never once answered the phone. As an experiment, I went to the office and watched from outside through the window as the office lady just sat there and watched the phone ring as I called.

Laundry rooms were out of service the entire 7 months I lived there. When the office was asked about a time frame for them being operational again, a simple dismissive "I don't know" was the only response I received.

They will constantly...
barage you with emails and text messages threatening to fine you for the slightest things.

When a resident was murdered in the parking lot in January of 2023, they didn't even address the event and completely ignored it.

The "security" is lazy. He just sits in his SUV and plays on his phone and watches as homeless people dig through the dumpsters and litter the property. I personally witnessed this occurring one day.

Would rate negative stars if possible.

Weird but okay

Apartment complex is super weird but I haven’t had anything negative happen yet. They let me tour their show apartment which looks nothing like the apartment they gave me. It had white cabinet tops, white cabinets grey painted walls and tiled floors, everything looked new and really nice. My appartment that I didn’t get to see until after I payed rent was dirty and not cleaned, the ceiling was stained as well as the walls, black substance covered the base boards and it ugly stained brown carpet.... The cabinets were a dark brown that looked like someone had put glue or wall paper over it and the cabinet top is a weird pale tan color and is peeling, the sink looks like someone had painted it instead of cleaning it and is also peeling as well. I had to wait almost a week for them to clean and repaint my unit before I could move in. I had signed a six month lease but they had extended it another six months without telling me and won’t let me move to another 1bed unit that has tile but will let me upgrade to a 2bed room with tiles. The neighbors are super nice and I haven’t had any problems with home invasion or theft, you do have to be careful where you park because your car will get hit and runned and they don’t have cameras anywhere. Also almost none of the mail boxes locks work and I have my mail sent to a friends house so that no one steals anything. They had security for a little while but not anymore, there are a lot of homeless people digging through the big dumpsters and throwing trash everywhere on the parking lot. They are slowly adding new things like potted plants to front wall way(which are dying) and replacing windows and carpet in other apartments.

Save your money

None of the units look like the photos or even the model unit they show you. You’re not allowed to tour the unit you apply for until everything is paid for already. AC goes out for months at a time leaving it 80 degrees. No security. I’ve been robbed 3 times since living here. Management doesn’t care. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
