Building is fine but area is now unsafe
The building itself is fine, but there's been a significant decline in quality of life recently, with what is effectively an open air drug market running every evening in the parking lot of the fertility clinic across the street. There was a news article recently that noted "The intersection of Southwest 15th Avenue and Taylor Street, less than two blocks from Lincoln High School, is now a known 'high drug trafficking area,' according to an affidavit filed in U.S. District Court."
I moved here... because I wanted to live in a walkable neighborhood, but it doesn't feel safe to be out after 8pm. You'll be walking through slumped bodies and dodging drug dealers on bikes with their unleashed pit bulls trotted along behind. Even during the day it's starting to feel unsafe--there were people doing drugs right in front of the building entrance on Sunday morning. The key fob reader has been broken for more than a month now, with residents all having to use a shared access code. I don't have confidence that the "no trespassing" sticker management put up on the front door recently will do much to deter break-ins.
