EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT.
My friends and I had the unfortunate luck of living right above the woman who runs this place. She would bang on our door in the middle of the night claiming that we were "being too loud" when we were all asleep (our neighbors on the side were noisy, however). She also called the police on us once with a "noise complaint" when we were doing nothing noisy at all. This rude woman would also harass us with phone calls, threatened to throw out my roommate's (very well behaved) service dog, and would... smoke on her back porch constantly -- it floated up to our apartment and made our whole living room smell like cigarettes when our windows were open. This woman also claimed that my roommate's fiance was living with us and that he had to start paying rent -- in reality, he came down from Washington every other weekend or so and would stay a night or two. When we informed the landlady of this FACT, she called us liars and threatened to kick us out if the fiance did not put his name on the lease.
I called the Norris and Stevens headquarters several times to complain about this landlady, and I believe that she was reprimanded, because she would get better for a while after I would call them... but then the nastiness would come back.
We once called with a maintenance issue, and the landlady's husband came to repair it -- then yelled at my roommate and I for not being able to fix the issue ourselves. After that we just called male family members with our maintenance issues, because we should not have to endure the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the management.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME APPLYING TO THIS PROPERTY. The affordable price was not worth the living experience my friends and I had here. Fortunately we were able to get out in less than a year because we had a month-to-month lease, but we would have rather lived anywhere else for any price.
