Hidden Fees

This is a fine place but it's worth noting they opt you in to bad internet for $50 a month. You have to upgrade if you want better. Also a $10 service fee per transaction is applied to online payments. They're not clear about these expenses at all

Save your money

Do not sign that lease. Horrible management and they only care about making their money. All the good reviews are all fake. Not luxury at all. They made one or two upgrades only to charge people an arm and a leg. I repeat Run

Don't live here

- Management is unresponsive
- The water is shut off once a day (usually 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) every week ("for maintenance")
- It's a "dog friendly" property, but not safe for dogs; The dumpsters are always overflowing with garbage, there's construction debris everywhere (I've had to pick up my dog when I noticed shards of glass multiple times)
The amenities listed are "coming soon," but have been for two years; Construction is incessant and never ending
- The AC units are ancient wall units,...
they don't circulate enough cool air to cool even just a one bedroom, so plan on buying lots of fans
- There's not enough parking for all residents
- They claim this is "luxury living" but it's SO far from it

Do not live here

I'm still living here and was going to leave my review when I left, but I simply can't wait any longer because I don't want anyone else to have to live here and if this review helps that decision I'll be happy. My gf and I moved in last year, this will be 10 months here. When we moved in they were doing renovations and so we knew it wouldn't be perfect and we were okay with that. Renovations in building five are pretty much done (I think?) but it's still disgusting. The hallways smell like trash... , someone literally threw up in the hallway and on the elevator and down the trash shoot (lovely in a pandemic) and it was there for more than a day after I called twice about the situation. They redid the hallways with new carpet and not a week later one of the people doing renovations dragged a bucket of white paint down the hallway, super cute for when you have guests. They shut the water off like every two weeks because you don't have your own water tank in each room and when they do maintenance they have to shut the whole building down (6 floors, 10 apartments on each floor). This is not an exaggeration, I wish I counted how many times they shut the water off while we lived here because it's way too often. And it's for 4 hours in the middle of the day 10-2 with maybe a days notice. And you're lucky if it actually comes on at 2. My family came over on a Friday and it was still off at 4:30 pm. They say they have ample parking for each tenant which is the biggest lie I've ever heard. When we moved in the upper garage building was free parking, which was great since it was attached to our building. In the fall 2020 they repainted the spots and put a gate up and now charge 25 bucks a spot for the upper deck. Inside the garage is like 50 a car I think. One of our neighbors said he parked his car in there and part of the ceiling came down and hit his car, and they had been fighting with the evalee for months because they won't pay for it. Because there are so little spots for the tenants everyone parks along the building and now they're threatening to tow cars because of it. Over the holidays, the people that keep up with the building weren't there anymore and the trash piled up in the trash shoot to the point where people were leaving their trash out in the hallway for days. We're so over this place don't want to give it a penny more. Please please do yourself a favor and don't live here. The only good people here are the maintenance people, especially Ruiz.

Beautiful but at what cost?

The property is recently renovated and the pictures do look beautiful, but management is crap. The leasing office is unresponsive and unhelpful. I don't actually know who is in charge, they haven't resolved any of my requests or issues as a resident. Also, we don't have a pool, dog park or fitness center. These features have been 'coming soon!' for quite a while now (just as an FYI to incomers). I read warnings about Nexus Real Estate before moving in and figured I'd take my chances, but I... recommend you think twice.
