A few things to consider before residing here
I lived at Regency Plaza Apartments for 2 years. For the most part, I was happy there. Very good location, and most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of small annoyances. 1. In the two years that I lived there, the outside windows were never washed once, so they were extremely dirty. 2. One of the front desk/concierge personnel would stalk me on the security cameras and constantly appear on my floor as I was coming or going, or when I was in the laundry room.... However, I would like to mention one very important point if you have pets. I just moved out at the end of November, and I am extremely disappointed that the pet deposit and the pet rent policy was not as I understood it to be. My cats had caused some damage to the carpet ($480), and this was not covered by my pet deposit or the pet rent. This was taken out of my deposit. I paid a $500 pet deposit, plus pet rent for 24 months ($2160), for a total of $2660.00. I have been told that this pet deposit and pet rent was simply for being allowed to have pets live with me. I have 2 inside cats, that never went out into the common areas or yard, so I do not understand the reason for the deposit and rent if it was not to cover damages. If you have pets, understand that the pet deposit and pet rent does not cover any pet damages.

Pets are welcome at our community, and we have policies in place to maintain the... condition and quality of our apartment homes. It appears that you were unclear on the differences between and pet fee and pet rent. A pet fee is not a deposit, and therefore does not cover damages. If at the end of a lease there are no damages, then there are no additional monies owed. With regard to your comments regarding the behavior of one of our staff members, we were not aware of this prior to your review, and will look into this immediately.
