Don't even think about it

This is one of the worst places to live. Office staff cycles out constantly, they usually hire the worst people they can find or chase off the good ones in a few months. Rent increased $50-$100+ EVERY year for FIVE years. They enter your house with no notice and gaslight you about it even with video evidence. Maintenance is the worst, they will tell you to fix issues yourself (breach of contract) or just never come by. I literally had a hole in my roof and water was running down the side of my... master bedroom wall and they took a week just to LOOK at it. If you go to leave this place (pig with makeup), they make up charges to get more money out of you even after they take your WHOLE security deposit for made up issues or issues you reported and they refused to fix.

DO NOT RENT HERE!

Property management on site is unable to work with, and flatly lies to, its renters. My wife and I are missionaries, our church is renting at Palmetto Pointe Townhomes in Sumter, South Carolina a townhome for us and an apartment for another set of missionaries. We have been without a closet for over two months from the first time the closet rails holding my wife's clothing fell off the wall and was replaced after a two week wait. The front office is currently charging our mission office for... closet repairs, stating we had put in too much clothing on the closet rails. We have not. We have let our mission office know that the townhouse front office only used nails put into the sheetrock, not any of the studs in the wall, to hold up the closet shelving. The closet is incapable of holding any weight in their configuration. We have sent pictures to our office of the closet and how it fell. The first time it was repaired, the maintenance man asked us to not use 1/3rd of the closet due to the possibility of it falling again. We put in half of the clothes put in before, and the opposite side broke and fell. About that time, we also put in and had approved by the regional manager a request for a handicapped parking slot to be put in near our home. Since then, the front office has changed the work order to a reserved spot stenciled on the ground of a parking slot near our home. No action has been taken on this for over a month. The front office has told us we are in a priority status on both jobs, but will not give us a date when these will start. They have only one maintenance man for both the apartments and townhomes properties. The management is not interested in customer service. Avoid this place!

Love this place!

I think it is well maintained and I've never had any issues living here. The landlord is a sweetheart (Melanie) and we are here to stay. Anytime anything broke they came within a day or hours to fix it. Probably the best priced in town as well, for the amenities and location. They're not brand new but well maintained so they don't seem old.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

This place is LITERALLY THE WORST. I would give it negative stars if I could. Since living here: - maintenance has been in my apartment unannounced and unplugged my security camera. - our AC went out in the summer on a Friday night and we were told to “deal with it until Monday” when readings were 90 degrees and over during day and night. And the property manager told corporate they offered us a hotel stay for the weekend which was a complete lie. - we have been talked down to by the property... manager on multiple occasions! She treats people so disrespectfully, including her own employees. - I have received numerous calls from the manager about “kids playing in a tree and it’s a safety issue” but it wasn’t even my children! However, when my children went to the front office when they accidentally got locked out of the house after school, they were told they can’t be let in the house because they aren’t over 18. The manager didn’t call me or their dad because, and I quote, “they didn’t ask me to” and “most kids have cellphones these days”. Or my favorite, “you guys usually aren’t too far behind”. My kids get out of school at 2:15. We get home at 5-5:30. How is that “not far behind”. Anything could’ve happened to my kids and management treated it like no big deal. My kids didn’t have a phone, asked them to let them in the house, and was basically shooed away... Do not, and I repeat DO NOT ever move here! Don’t even consider it. So many people are unhappy and moving out within months of moving in! They are nothing but money-hungry, inconsiderate, and incompetent company I’ve met!!

Do not rent from here...especially military

Can I give this over expensive potential rental a zero!! It’s horrible and full of roaches. The staff is rude. People were partying all the time and making noise that it was I enjoyable to stay there. It’s a pretty facade that has an ugly interior...do not rent here if you like your money to be invested into quality of living.
