HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

HORRIBLE management. Rent was paid then denied due to “frozen account” but my bank shows the payment was never requested. Now from the complex who refuses to waive the fees and lacks communication-4 emails 2 phones calls with no response over a week later. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

FAKE REVIEWS - DO NOT MOVE TO THIS COMPLEX

I have been living in this complex for two years and it's been a living hell. You are over-paying and the work orders never get fixed. There are MULTIPLE TENANTS with no washer and dryer yet we are paying full rent every month. The staff starting from the front desk people all the way to the "assistant manager" lol and the "manager" are a whole joke!!! NOTHING GETS DONE - NO PHONE CALLS GET RETURNED - the walls are paper thin, neighbors are noisy, shootings in the complex, hit and runs on... multiple vehicles. IT IS NOT A GOOD PLACE to live!! GO FIND ANOTHER COMPLEX!!

No communication from management

Every time I email I have to send MULTIPLE emails for a response and go in person. Management is snippy when responding about doing anything. Had a problem with parcel pending they told me “we don’t like anything about that, e-mail them but we don’t know the email.” Water filter has been red since I moved in emailed twice no communication. When I first moved in I emailed 4 times about my move in date and expectations and had to go in to receive a response. Trash site is constantly filled and... dirty. Pool closed down and hasn’t re-opened, I emailed about the opening date months ago never heard anything back. They have team meetings during business hours, when they should be open and willing to talk since they don’t respond to emails. I have asked for contact information for the over seers of the apartment twice and have received nothing. I work during their business hours so it’s hard to go in person. Worst experience I have ever had as far as a managing team for an apartment and they were supposed to have a “new” team. I am deeply disappointed and would not recommend to anyone.

Units are nice, but terribly managed

Management refuses to take responsibility for anything and Community Manager is condescending. Almost every issue I’ve asked them to address is “not their problem”.
The safety and sanitation in this complex does not seem to be a concern at all. During one of the shootouts, I watched multiple residents literally running for their lives as we heard gunshots from an apartment in broad daylight. While luckily no one was injured (I’m assuming), management did nothing to publicly address the incident....
The overhead lights in the parking were not working for several weeks (months?) and the solution was to turn on the porch lights of a few vacant apartments. Again, no apology or communication about resolving the safety issue.
The only emails we get from management are asking for money (don’t forget to pay your rent on time, rent a garage, etc) or a reminder about an occasional community event.
Other complaints about the complex are to be expected, after all this is Antioch:
Fitness center (broken equipment, no sanitizer and towels or wipes, dirty floors, so much dust that it’s visible on the walls)
Parking overflow and people driving too fast in the parking lot (sometimes they tow, but recently the number of random vehicles and illegal parking is getting out of hand)
Disrespectful residents/guests [excessive partying and unsanitary behavior at pool, pet waste in the halls and on the sidewalks, littering in parking lots, occasional loitering, excessive trash (folks literally trying to throw away furniture and appliances…)]
Issues with valet trash/community dumpster (both of which we now have to pay for, a fee adjustment that management of course did not warn us about)

I really like my apartment itself, the unit is perfect and the price is reasonable for Nashville. I was reluctant to re-sign my lease because I had some grievances and was being priced gouged (rent increased by only a few dollars, but was listed on market for less, management also added several new/increased fees that were not all explicitly told upfront). I decided to re-sign because I felt it was a just compromise; however, now I’m planning to find a new complex as the community has become uncomfortable to live in.

Terrible Property- Do NOT move here

My recommendation to anyone thinking of moving here, DO NOT. I moved from another state and thought the property was gorgeous, so I ignored the reviews. This is the WORST property I’ve ever lived in my life!

Do not ignore the reviews of this dirty property. They do not have enough staff to maintain this property (I think there is only ONE person hired to clean).

I’ve had to submit a work order almost every month.

1. Half of the electricity outlets in my unit didn’t work. One room would get...
fixed, but it would cause another room’s outlets to go out.
2. The water heater was overflowing from the closet. Imagine the damage I would’ve had if I didn’t work from home full-time.
3. The AC monitor stopped working at one point.
4. The fridge’s ice and water was blackish-grey (pictures attached). I thought I was drinking mold!! Turns out the fridge leaks oil from time to time. I was told if it happens again, I would need to dump it, and clean the oil out (I am not sure where it comes from), but not to worry, IT IS SAFE TO DRINK. I can’t make this up. I now have to purchase ice and don’t feel comfortable using the water.
5. My garbage disposal work order was in for almost 2 weeks. Reiterating my point, they don’t have enough staff to maintain this large property.
6. The trash is insane! I know there’s a new vendor, but the dumpster still overflows.
7. All of these issues don’t account for all the miscellaneous items in the apartment, like the blinds that are loose at the touch, despite us rarely using them, or an outlet that cracked. Again, these apartments are poorly built and I’ve never had this as an issue with a complex.
8. Once you are a resident, you are expected to purchase your own water filters for your fridge. I have never lived at a property that requires you to upkeep their appliances.
9. My dryer stopped working.
10.There is dog poop everywhere. If you have a dog, I encourage you to walk around the property and see how much is around after touring with the leasing office (even the sidewalks).

I was hopeful with new management, but they’ve been here since the summer (came maybe 3 weeks after I moved in), but it’s the same conditions as previous management. I’ve watched people move out in the masses and had multiple conversations with other tenants who couldn’t wait to leave this property because it’s so bad.

I’m constantly wondering what is going to break next in here. It is not worth the price! I HATE living here!!
