I like it here.
The garden units (flats) are constructed with concrete floors and ceilings so there is not a lot of noise from above or below. It also feels safe here because this isn't a bad area, and also because the entrances to the units are all indoors. There is a courtesy officer on site, too. It's easy to report any problems any hour of the day since all calls outside of office hours are routed to a 3rd party for immediate action in case of emergency. Management is very friendly and attentive to the... tenants. As the other review says, the place could do with some upgrades; however maintenance has always been lightning quick when I make a request. KUB was here this year to install updated meters which really did lower the electric bill. There are plenty of pet walking areas which have at least two trash cans that have free dispensable plastic bags. I don’t think they hold the weight limit on dogs too tightly as I have seen fully grown retrievers on the grounds. The hot water heaters in the garden units are tremendous! I could stay in the shower for an hour, and still won’t run out of hot water, and what makes it even better is that the water is included in the rent. Each building has two pairs of washers & dryers in the basement. My only inconvenience is that the laundry is $1.50 per wash or dry ($3 for a single load), and it must be paid using a prepaid card that you can only load at the office during open hours.
