Disappointed with Carpet Replacement and Lack of Justification
I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the decision made by AMLI Management to replace the carpet in my apartment after just four months of living there.
After moved out from apartment, I checked that the carpet was in mint condition,not like new after replacement, but realy good. However, to my surprise, I received a notice stating that the carpet needed replacement due to alleged excessive odor of smoke and stains underneath.
I must emphasize that neither I nor any member... of my household smokes, and we have always taken great care to maintain a clean and odor-free environment. We have diligently followed the no-shoes policy, regularly cleaned the carpet, and ensured proper ventilation throughout our tenancy.
AMLI Management replaced the carpet without providing any substantial evidence to support their claims. They failed to provide proof of the alleged smoke odor or the existence of stains underneath the carpet. In fact, we have video evidence clearly showing the clean and well-maintained condition of the carpet throughout our four-month occupancy.
The decision to replace an almost new carpet raises serious concerns about the management's judgment and their commitment to fair and reasonable practices. It is disappointing to see the lack of justification and transparency in their actions, especially considering the financial burden placed on tenants for an unnecessary replacement.
I would caution potential residents to be aware of AMLI Management's handling of maintenance and repairs. The premature replacement of a perfectly fine carpet reflects their disregard for tenant rights and their willingness to impose additional costs without proper justification.
I sincerely hope that this review serves as a reminder to Management to reevaluate their practices and prioritize honest and fair treatment of their tenants.
