My Kind of 5 Stars!
I've lived in the same apartment at Hunter's Glen for about 5 years now. It is the closest to feeling like a home of my own that I've felt in many years. Before moving in, I researched the ownership of Tramor complexes regarding stability as my last apartment complex was sold and we had to move out. Literally. (Option B was to move to another unit after it was renovated, withthe rent now doubled.)
At Hunter's Glen, 'amenities ' are kept to a minimum in order to keep the rent as low as possible.... I appreciate that. Felix, our maintenance wizard, is the hardest working chap around and does his best to keep things in good condition. Kelly, our office manager, and crew always greet me so warmly. And responds to requests quickly. My neighbors and I keep an eye out for one another and often lend one another a hand or check in on one another. I love watching the elementary school children heading to and from school each day. Molly, my dog, and I often enjoy long walks in the neighborhood. Sprouts Market is within easy walking distance...as is Starbucks.
My apartment is a spacious one bedroom with washer and dryer hook-ups. I bought a refurbished washer & dryer. ..and am grateful to be able to get the laundry done at home! The last thing I'd say is we're rather uniquely situated. We aren't one of the fancy new downtown urban living high rises, but when I'm driving to work, getting on MoPac is never arduous. And heading south to San Marcos and San Antonio is relatively easy as well. I'm grateful to be living in this community. P.S. I have bum knees so swimming is essential in my life. I'm in our pool as often as is humanly possible.
