Needs Major Improvements
Theses apartments are older, built in 1985. So because of this the complex has a multitude of problems like: paint falling off the ceiling in the shower, wood rotting outside which allow bugs like flying American Roaches. Possible black mold that caused our daughters and ourselves extensive allergy issues. The foundation has problems which cause air to leak in from windows and electric bill to sky rocket. They made it where we can’t access tenant documentation after moving, then slapped us with... multiple fees. Maintenance started cutting corners this past year 2023 to save in costs, like cutting filters in half instead of special ordering them and only change them every 3 months. Ultimately, Crestbrook needs staff that will make sure that things are cleaned properly and not just painted over. There are many things that need to be redone and replaced. The carpet in our apartment was there when we moved in in 2019. It wasn’t new then and already had stains from previous tenants. Most people know no matter how many times you clean a carpet the stain won’t go away, it is imbedded in the foam padding underneath it. So to charge each tenant for a black spot that keeps coming back is unfair to the tenant when it’s their job to replace the old and dirty carpet. The drip pans on our stove weren’t new when we moved in and that was fine but because I didn’t replace them upon moving out we got charged for them. The fan in the vent a good is so old it is falling apart and makes a loud noise when on. The mailboxes don’t have the numbers on them, they instead use permanent marker to write on them. The gate always has issues, and if my review isn’t up to their liking they will flag it and have it removed so people don’t see it. They went through 5 managers in the time we lived there from 2019-2023. There’s obviously problems that need to be addressed and I understand management is only able to do so much without the proper consent from higher up, but it’s disheartening to have to deal with these issues.
