Bad Management and customer care
I am beyond disappointed with the way my move-in was handled by this property management company. After applying for a specific unit, paying the application fee, administration fee, and deposit, and having a confirmed move-in date, I was informed just before my move-in that the unit was unavailable due to an "unforeseen complication." The lack of advance notice was already frustrating, but what followed made the situation worse.
The alternatives offered were completely inadequate. One was a... different floor plan that didn’t match the unit I had originally applied for, and the other was another unit identical to the one I applied for, but not available until the end of January. These options did not meet my needs in any way. When I refused to accept them, I was told I would only receive a refund of the deposit. Despite having paid the application fee and administration fee in addition to the deposit, they refused to refund the other fees simply because I did not accept their subpar alternatives.
This situation is absurd and illogical. Why should I bear the financial burden for inefficiencies in their process and system? The lack of communication, transparency, and fairness is appalling. To make matters worse, the manager was rude and lacked any understanding or empathy for the position they had put me in. Instead of working to find a reasonable solution, I was met with a dismissive attitude.
Based on my experience, I strongly do not recommend renting an apartment from this property management company. Their unprofessionalism, lack of customer care, and poor handling of this situation make it clear that they do not prioritize their tenants or take responsibility for their mistakes.
