Warning: Stay away from this apartment complex.
Don’t be misled by the positive reviews from the past—they’re no longer accurate. I’ve been living here for 3 years, and the place has gone downhill significantly since I first moved in. My recent move-out experience was a nightmare.
1. They’ll charge you for damage their own maintenance crew caused. My AC broke, and they sent out an incompetent contractor who left blue paint stains on the bathtub because they didn’t bother using protective coverings. I immediately notified the leasing office,... and the clerk acknowledged it, saying she’d note it in my file so I wouldn’t be charged. Well, guess what? They tried to hit me with a $150 charge for that exact damage.
2. Faulty equipment becomes your problem. My kitchen sink leaked, causing water damage to the cabinet. Despite this being an issue with their equipment, they tried to charge me $50 for the damage.
3. Maintenance is painfully slow now. It used to be relatively quick, but lately, I’ve had to wait over a week for even basic repairs. They used to blame delays on COVID, but now that excuse doesn’t hold water. I believe their maintenance team is just severely understaffed.
4. They’ll nickel and dime you for every little thing. For example, they wanted to charge $50 for a simple countertop wipe. They’ll find every tiny imperfection to squeeze every last cent out of you.
5. Double billing is a thing here. After I moved out, they tried to charge me for utilities from July, even though I had already paid the bill on August 1st.
6. Huge rent hikes with no justification. They tried to raise the rent by hundreds of dollars—far above any reasonable inflation rate.
This entire experience has shown me just how shady and greedy this management is. My emails to resolve these issues have been completely ignored. Consider this your warning.
