Nice apartments, but they take forever to fix things when they need to be fixed, they have very bad costomer service. The ladies that work in the front are very lazy and rude. The close before the regular hours, they never answer the phones and also they will give you attitude if you ask for help. I don't recommend these apartments, unless u care that there are kids playing around your car with the ball and again you tell them in the front and they don't do anything about it. A little expensive... for comfort. (NOT RECOMMENDED)

Manager at the front is very rude and was quick to tell my roommate and I she "didn't have time" to deal with us. I lived here for 6 months, I never parked inside of the gate, had to park outside and walk all the way to the back to my apartment. They made both me and my roommate pay $300 deposit, but when asked why we had to put down a $600 deposit, she would not answer the question. Bathroom toilet leaked for 2 months and was never fixed, maintenance said there was nothing wrong with it. From... the first day we moved in to the day we moved out our stove wasn't even fully put together. They over charged us on rent by $400 for THREE MONTHS and finally when we noticed and said something, they decided to fix it. Pool is always closed. This apartment complex is a SCAM!!

The apartment itself is okay. If you report any issues, they either go ignored or are made much worse before being fixed. The maintenance guy is a liar and doesn't have a clue what he is doing. He replaced the door to our laundry room (the hinge was unsupported when we moved in, and it fell of completely), and the new door was put on backwards. We had to shut ourselves in the tiny laundry "room" to access the washer/dryer. When there was a fire scare, he lied to the management about coming to... check on it that night, when in reality he didn't show up until the following afternoon (18 hours after we called him). The plumbing backs up constantly, so good luck getting the toilets to flush. Our water heater stopped working, and it took them 2 months to look at it and another 2 weeks to fix it. The people in the front office are nice until you sign your lease. After that, they quickly become sassy and rude if you dare to walk in and speak with them. For these apartments being as expensive as they are, the facility is barely passable. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The Avenue Apartments are a joke. The management is the worst I've experienced to date. Lisa is unpleasant and a complete nightmare. The front office turnaround is unbelievable, probably due to the lack of knowledge and crookedness that takes place there. They hire out of district towing companies, so that they get a piece of the pie when the towing company comes into the apartment complex and tows residents. The office is constantly unsure of what individuals owe on a monthly basis. The gate... was broken for a year out of the time I lived there. The front office never answers the phone or returns calls for that matter. The maintenance guy was incredible, to the extent of what The Avenue allowed. If there is damage done to the property and they are at fault, they have no issue charging tenants for the damage at the end of their lease. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
