This is your warning.
I've always enjoyed living here and often find it's the best deal when it comes to price vs space in the area which is what's kept us here when it's time to renew. But things have changed. Our building is more rundown than ever and while I could make a list of things the main reason you won't want to live here is the elevators are constantly breaking down. They were 99% reliable up until the middle of last year when it broke down for the first time and was out about a month. Since then it's been... non stop frustration. The elevator company will fix it on a Monday, it'll be down 3 days later. Over and over for about 9+ months now. If you plan to live on anything but the 1st floor, avoid this complex. I was told it was just our building and took a walk asking neighbors I ran into around the complex; it's every building. Move here to an upper floor and you'll be stuck carrying groceries up every time you buy them. Fedex will refuse to deliver packages up if they're too heavy or leave them on the 1st floor or in some cases you'll catch them slamming your packages at your door in frustration they had to carry them up. Moving in or out? Good luck, expect to have to move everything up or down without the elevator. I'm on this site because we're looking at moving out and while we were fortunate to have the elevators working when we moved in, I dread having to carry our heavy furniture down without them. You've been warned.
