The pricing is way to high for the poor quality living, everything is outdated except for the new thermostats they’ve installed. They never answer the phones, then when you walk into the office they aren’t busy. Maintenance and employees don’t follow up with work orders, you have to constantly remind them of your problem. They’ve painted all of the buildings white, so they are false advertising online, and it’s been a hot summer but the pool hasn’t be available for use in weeks. Mind you, after... the snowstorm they didn’t deep clean the pool, even though they said they did, they’re always lying, I would know, I have a pool view. It would get as green as a swamp, and they would just add chlorine. It’s not a gated community because the gate has been broken for years now. So anyone would come in and swim, There is also Trash everywhere. They don’t keep the pool restroom available like they should, the gym is dirty, and the employees in the office are unprofessional. It’s getting worse and worse with each new management team. Oh and the mail box door is broken too, like everything else.

The new management is friendly and are doing better than the previous. The overall cleanliness is on the lower end. The pool is NOT as clean and clear as the photos show. Thin walls and bad insulation on doors calls for excessive noise. For the price if rent the apartments need major updates!

Fantastic location. Maintenance requests handled promptly. Staff always doing something fun for residents. Special buildings for Veterans and families. No problem too big or too small. Beautiful pool area and great parking.

The Republic Woodlake apartments are pretty spacious and functional. I've currently lived here for 11 months and cannot complain much.
Pros:
the location- it is definitely the biggest plus about moving here. There is a Target, Bank of America, Chic-Fil-A, Subway, Ross, and Sally's literally across the street. HEB and Wal-Mart are directly down the street, and there are plenty of places to eat. Although the complex has a small gym onsite, there is a Gold's Gym within minutes of driving. ... The complex is located within Judson ISD, with Woodlake MS within walking distance.
the cost- the rent is also a plus. Republic Woodlake is reasonably priced, especially because of the location. I live in the bigger one bedroom (around 750 sq ft) for under $800/month. When I signed my lease, I received a discount for where I worked. Make sure to asked about any specials!
the amenities-The apartment includes all black GE appliances, walk-in closets, spacious rooms, ceiling fans, a washer/dryer facility, washer/dryer connections. Also included are valet trash pickup, utilities paid to the complex, Time Warner basic cable and your choice of carpet or hardwood floors.
the residents- in all the time of leasing here, I have never made a noise complaint. It's pretty quiet here.
Cons: the only downside is that, although gated, there are several times during my stay that the gate has been stuck open for several days at a time. Unfortunately, during one of those times numerous cars were broken into, including my boyfriends'.
Overall, I would recommend staying here.
