Poor management and mold/unsafe living conditions
DO NOT MOVE HERE! The unit was in an unacceptable state with several issues that should have been addressed before my arrival. The apartment was not cleaned, leaving dust and dirt throughout, and I’ve been dealing with persistent bug, ant, and fly infestations. There was MOLD on the countertops, oven door, and door frames, and the dryer doesn't fully dry my clothes because the lint catch is rusted out. While the blackened and discolored carpet was replaced the day I moved in, other problems... remain, such as swollen baseboards, a rusted oven rack, a sticking door, a cracked window frame with broken security tabs (suggesting a possible break-in attempt), and a balcony railing with chipping paint. The countertops are also discolored.
I had to deep clean the apartment myself because of its poor condition, which is completely unacceptable. Additionally, maintenance has shown up without prior notice while I was at work, and although some issues have been addressed, many remain unresolved. For example, the oven drawer was removed but never replaced, and despite Linda scheduling a walk-through with me, she never showed up.
To make matters worse, my lease includes a gate remote, but I was informed after moving in that the complex no longer supplies them. This missing amenity significantly impacts my experience and security.
Adding to the frustration, management is unresponsive to emails and has failed to communicate properly. This lack of communication makes it nearly impossible to get the necessary repairs or information, leading to a highly unsatisfactory living experience. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone
