Dishonest

Quoted a partial month's rent for moving out mid-month. Then when the time came charged a full month's rent. When confronted about their prior quote, came up with a rate much higher than originally quoted, then another amount again higher than originally quoted (still over $100 higher).

They have no idea what they are doing and you can't trust them to stand by anything they say.

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. However, there must have been a misunderstanding because we communicated the move-out fees upfront and provided the breakdown of the fees. Also, we have been very flexible with move-out date requests . Additionally,... our unit rates are very reasonable with our excellent service and amenities. Please stop by or give us a call so we can help you better. Thank you - The Team at Quail Cove Apartments.

Quail cove

There is nothing excellent about this place. Bathroom floors are squishy, closet doors come off hinges, dryers take two times to dry clothes, dish washer doesn’t even clean your dishes and leave water marks all over, three days after moving in the bathroom door handle fell off including the towel rack, WiFi cuts out a lot, heater needs to be relit, I requested for something to be fixed and it’s still broke, disposal broke three times, the office pounds on your door waking up sleeping children... that are sick, the office people are rude on occasions when you call them for help or they are disrespectful, Pool or hot tub are closed a lot, hardly get anything shipped here cause the address is either wrong or people steal it, loud neighbors, my friends car was hit while visiting us, the office conplains about everything on your patio it doesn’t matter what it is, apartments are over priced, falling apart, hidden fees, and so much more. DONT MOVE HERE! Worst place I ever lived and I’ve lived in some pretty bad places. I do not recommend at all. Save your money.

Great place!

I lived at Quail Cove for almost 2 years, good place to be! Very quiet around the apartments, my neighbors were all really cool and kind. The office has some wonderful people as well and their maintenance crew is awesome. I enjoyed living there!

Highly Recommend Looking ELSEWHERE

I have lived in Quail Cove for a year now, and I am so happy to say that I will be moving out soon! This was my first apartment living experience, and the way things have gone have been sour since the very start. There are so many hidden fees that didn’t get brought up upon lease initiation, and the management is terrible at complying with requests. I had to pay rent late one time, and I emailed the office in advance to let them know that I would be making my payment two days past the deadline.... They emailed me back promptly letting me know it was not going to be a problem, but I woke up to an eviction notice taped to my front door stating that I had three days to pay or get out. I ended up having to pay well over $300 in late fees. Not to mention that NO ONE cleans up after their pets. There are dog stations with dog poop bags all over the complex, but I would still avoid walking through the grass at any cost. The sprinklers will never fail to spray right under the covered parking and will leave your vehicles with water spots. The dumpsters are ALWAYS full, and there are obnoxious neighbors that will blast their music or stomp around through any hour of the night. The Layton city police department are frequent visitors here as well. Also don’t even think about decorating your patio, you’ll get notices on your door and they’ll make you pay a fine for having anything out there.

The apartments themselves are old and outdated, constantly needing to be repaired. Our door frames are uneven, closet doors come off hinges, and shower knobs are crooked and the temperature is either scalding hot or colder than the arctic sea. The washer and dryer that you have to rent in-unit are cheap, and it always takes AT LEAST three dryer cycles to get your clothes to even be damp. The one good thing I do have to say about this place is that the maintenance crew is phenomenal. They have always come to my house within 24 hours of any service requests being submitted and have always been very responsive and respectful.

If you are looking for a nice apartment complex to call home, I would recommend looking elsewhere because that is not what you will find here.
