Terrible property management

Five months in I found large roaches in my apartment unit. I was told the unit was fumigated before I moved in. I had just moved from a very clean building so I know I didn’t bring them. I asked to see documentation which was not provided to me. I then filled out a transfer request which was denied. I then filled out an application to vacate: knowing full well that I would need to give a sixty day notice (not waived by the leadership) and pay two months rent as penalty. I received an email... saying that the application was accepted and that the early term fee would reflect on my portal. It did not.
I then tried to follow up in person and I was told the application to vacate was never received. I re-sent the email; no response.
This place is hell. Do not rent.

The maintenance staff are likely the only people who work in the building. The butterfly entrance app never seems to work.
The package room is in the garage and not in the lobby. So in winters you have to layer up to go get your package.
I am not a fan of trash valet. Hallways stink of trash all the time.
The gym is small and old looking. I could go on for eternity but you get the picture. Run!

DO NOT LIVE HERE

With this luxury apartment, you can expect the following:

1. Expect slow elevators, which are constantly malfunctioning and out of service.
2. Expect these elevators to trap you in them to the extent that the fire department has to save you through the ceiling (see pic).
3. Expect monthly false fire alarms at all hours of the night.
4. Expect deliveries to be robbed by residents while management is aware and doesn't warn their residents/safeguard deliveries.
5. Expect to be incorrectly charged...
$500+ ambiguously on move-out for holes made to hang pictures/mount a TV+grouting.
6. Expect thin walls/common wall noise.
7. Expect dog poop in the halls and in the elevators.
8. Expect electricity outages

Do not recommend.

Looks pretty but needs work

Pros:
- Close to the 66, 494, 50, 7
- Local shops and restaurants
- Apartment looks modern
- They have a trash service
Cons:
- Expensive
- Offered no incentives to new residents
- The parking garage has no gate. Anyone and go down and have access to our cars
- Management is slow and is mostly unhelpful
- Residents keep leaving Target shopping carts in the garage
- Very thin walls. You can hear conversations in the apartments from the hallways. You can also hear your neighbor's TV

Overall not...
a bad place to live however I think they should replace all the staff with people who will actually do the job (not including Maintenance workers). I would not recommend renewing your lease.

Harassment and Threats By Management

Harassment and threats by management. If I had given this review a few days ago, it would have been quite different from this. Yesterday we received a threatening 21/30 notice from an attorney to fix a breach of our lease agreement or be kicked out for smoking marijuana in our apartment. My boyfriend and I have lived here with our two dogs since August. We do not smoke cigarettes or use marijuana at all. Our hallway ALWAYS smells like it (that's not my problem though,) so I went to the property... manager to inform her that a mistake has been made and it had to be someone else on our floor but she did not seem to care. They stated we have received multiple complaints from neighbors (which we have never been notified of) that the smell is from our apartment. She and Taneeka would not hear what I had to say nor accept even the slightest possibility this was a mistake. In fact, Taneeka insinuated that I was lying and that she checked the apartments around us and it HAD to be us. No proof. I continued to state that it was impossible for us to be the cause and express my concerns over them sending a threatening letter with no evidence as well as the fact that our neighbors are lying to management about us. She could not have cared less about my concerns. The property manager just smirked at me while I became visibly upset in her office. They refused to remove the letter or even apologize. Our lease ends in a few months, we will be counting down the days.

Love living here!

I moved into the Lincoln about 6 months ago and it was the best decision I could have made. I moved here from New Jersey for work and didn’t know anyone. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, and well-informed. The apartments are beautiful and new. Yes, sometimes you can hear your neighbors, but not often (at least in my experience). That’s to be expected if you CHOOSE to live in a shared space though.
Did I mention there’s a target being built in the same building - what more could you...
ask for!?
My only ask is that they consider having someone at the desk 24/7. I’ve seen that in other properties and it’s a really nice feature, as I often miss the window of time to retrieve a package.
I’ve enjoyed my experience so far and will absolutely be renewing my lease here.
