Ups & Downs
Positives:
The maintenance team, specifically Leon & Sean, were the absolute best! I've never had a request take longer than maybe 24 hours & if one of them came to fix something and noticed something else, they'd take care of that as well. The small touches, like always leaving a note to let you know they were there, were greatly appreciated. I wish I could take them with me when I moved!
The location can't be beat. That's really what you are paying for because the apartments are tiny.
The... grounds are well maintained. MOST neighbors are decent (I lived towards the front on Maize Dr).
Ms. Bev in the office is wonderful and the only person I wanted to deal with.
Surprisingly, they don't try to screw you over upon move-out.
Amenities are actually decent (dog park updated & gym updated).
I liked having the washer & dryer in the unit.
CONS:
Waterbugs! Doesn't matter how clean you live! I've had them spray and everything. They'd still come in. I couldn't handle it anymore.
Very small living space, the bathroom is a closet and the sink is in the bedroom. You'll have to master creating vertical storage!
Brad in the leasing office is a jerk and talks down on people for no reason. After a few interactions with him, I didn't want to deal with him AT ALL. If I walked in and he was the only one there, I'd leave and come back when someone else could help.
The flat rate on the water is high. Its about $70 monthly for one person. Now that I've moved, I see that I don't use nearly $70 a month in water, that's with a washer & dryer.
