Replete Facilities and Great Services

All facilities are replete and kept always clean like a hotel. I appreciate staffs' efforts and we can fully enjoy our life. Also, the office staffs respond our asks very quickly and everything goes on smoothly. I recommend to choose this place.

Does not feel like a home

- Never ending construction (jackhammers, diamond cutting saws, hours of fire alarm testing, hammers, etc.)
- Continuous fire alarm testing, which they set 4-8 hour blocks of time (where do you work, and evacuate for that time frame with small children during a quarantine? Little sympathy or problem-solving by management)
- Constant noise on 1st Street, day and evening (in addition to daily construction, expect delivery trucks, moving trucks, playground noise, honking/car alarms, drag racing,...
unenforced loud car exhaust, and partyers in the park all until 3am)
- Storing your bike in your apartment (bike racks removed because they were ugly and attracted crime)
- Thin ceilings (hear every step from your upstairs neighbor, as well as their barking pets)
- Cleaning up after construction vendors (I have had 4 instances where vendors have left messes in our apartment requiring mopping, vacuuming, and/or laundry; only apologies from management)
- Smokers regularly smoking right outside your window

I highly recommend The Meyden Apartments just down the road – my wife and I lived at The Meyden for 2 years and had a much better and quieter living experience than we have had at AMLI.

No access to amenities, endless renovation, bike racks to be removed

You can forget about the amenities touted on their website. Endless renovation work and the governor’s lock-in order have made them unavailable to residents. On top of that, we were just informed that we are no longer allowed to use the bike racks in the garage, as they are not “safe”. No other option was provided, if we don’t comply, they are going to remove the bikes and donate them to a charity. As simple as that. They are offering 2 months free for new residents - I guess that proves they... are doing a poor job keeping people satisfied and are trying to lure new customers. Potential resident, beware! You are going to pay through your nose for things you may not be getting.

Often Water Leakage

Actually I don’t want to put even one star. It’s zero star.
Water leakage happened TWICE between 3 months, two months ago and today. Now, there are over 15 super noisy dehumidifiers here and there in my room and of course it’s not a situation I can stay. But the office said they didn't offer another room and just said “Reach out to your renter's insurance.” The flood was not my responsibility, so why does my insurance have to pay? My expensive rest never help me.
