Bait and switch

Only SOME of the apartments look like the ones in the picture. The rest are smelly, old, regular 90s apartment grade everything. Massive disappointment.

The worst experience staying in this apartment

Apartment have hidden charges . Not friendly staff. Door are very narrow sofa don't enter into the apartment.
Hidden clause : you cannot sub lease . You can't break the lease. Rates are too high. If your in lower rent price they make sure you get out of that month by offering you 13 months lease .
Online system doesn't work as expected and apartment staff charges late fees every time you renew the lease.
They just don't care about the people who have staying for longer time. They just wanted...
to get out the old resident so that they will get new lease with more amount.

Avoid this place altogether!

Terrible, avoid this place.
I end up paying them money for their problems.

First, when I was about to move, just over a week before the move (Way past the 20 days notice to vacate to my previous landlord), after I had signed the leasing contract. They tell me that they made a mistake and my rent was now higher. I asked how this was possible after signing the e-contract. It turns out that they hadn't signed it yet and wanted me to pay more. I tried to renew my lease, but it was already rented...
and I had no option but to accept their new increased rate.

Months later, I did my payment on their online system as usual. The system said the payment went through and I went with my normal activities. A week after this I got a notice to pay or vacate in 3 days, requesting a cashiers check as the only payment method. I explained that the system must have failed as I DID PAY on their site, and I checked my browser history to confirm. All I wanted was to waive the late payment fees (I had already absorbed 10$ for the cashiers check). They told me that if I didn't have any hard proof of it, I must pay them 76$ for late payment.

So this is the second time I end up paying them money for their problems (Actually many more, since I pay the extra rent every month)

Apart from this, the units are fine I guess, but given the paper-thin walls (and ceilings and floors) we can hear everything from our neighbors. From simple phone calls to the upstairs guy snoring.

Their resolve-time for requests is so long, that I end up changing my smoke detector batteries because I get tired of the low-battery warning chirp. My neighbors don't get tired, and I can still hear theirs, it's been over a month.

The worst experience moving in and out

They took almost a month to sign my lease, I had to change my moving date and call the leasing office every single day because they wouldn't have the leasing papers ready yet. I decided to be patient and stay because I really loved the apartment and it was a great price.

Living there was actually pretty good. Apartments are nice and new, although the appliances are not.

Fast forward to my lease renewal, and a 400 USD increase. No way the apartments are worth that, it's not even downtown...
Bellevue! I decided to move and asked for my deposit back.
They took 3 months! I would call them and get no response at all. Then they would say they would call back, and nothing.
And in the end I get 25% of my deposit back because they say they had to paint the whole apartment even though I didn't paint over any of the walls!

It's a shame the apartments are so nice, because management in this building completely sucks. Keep your money away from this place.
