DO NOT LIVE HERE
Horrible place to live. Very expensive and outdated. They don’t upkeep the grounds and management is a joke.

I am not having any issues as some of the other reviewers. Maybe new staff I don't know. I have always lived in houses for the last 35 years and this is my first apartment. While I am adjusting to the noise levels, any issues I have had have been promptly addressed. I am not one to call maintenance over tiny issues I can usually fix myself. I am pretty handy, so O don't bother them with little things. I did lock myself out on my second night here and maintenance came and brought me a spare key... within 15 minutes of calling which was amazing considering it was 1 a.m. apartment is spacious and has high ceilings so you don't have that closed in feeling. Kitchen lacks cupboard space, but I can adjust to that I just brought in a piece of furniture to use as pantry.

The first time my lease renewed here, they increased it almost $200 a month. The second time, they increased it $300 a month. The hot tub is constantly broken. They don't provide enough dumpsters so they are often over flowing and the whole place is infested with rats. I wouldn't let my children or animals out of my site, particularly after dark.

The apartment was nice. I lived there for just about a year. I moved out when I bought a house. The issue, however, for me was the staff and I am still having issues with them now that I have moved out.
I ran into issues with the staff when our mailboxes were broken into and it took months to get fixed, all the while I needed to go to the post office, which is not convenient in December or if you work a full time job. My friends had their mailboxes broken into down the road and their... mailboxes were fixed and they were able to receive mail two days later at their apartment complex. It took months to get our mailboxes fixed and the staff kept saying that it was the Post Office's fault but how could they have fixed the issue down the street so quickly if it was indeed the post office's fault. It just didn't feel like things were explained or communicated very well for a big issue. And I had that communication issue almost every time I dealt with the office staff. I just didn't feel like I was being listened to when I went in.
Now that I have moved out, I got a bill for utilities but I paid my rent and utilities were in my rent for the month before and they took utilities out of my deposit, so I wrote them a letter explaining that my utilities were taken out of my deposit, which was sent back to me a month after I moved out. It took them a month to respond to my letter and they told me that I still owed the money and if I didn't pay immediately they were going to put me into collections. Now hold on a second...you took a month to respond to me and then tell me I'm late and you're going to put me into collections because of it? That hardly seems fair, especially since I had a legitimate dispute. I am not usually a complainer, but the treatment of the renters by the staff to me is a big part of renting an apartment as we tend to be at their mercy for a lot of things. While the apartments are nice enough, I would suggest renting elsewhere if you want a decent experience from the office.
