Great place to live :)

Great place to live management is kind and understanding, the apartments came a long way.
They have a new maintenance supervisor and he is absolutely wonderful.
Debbi the manager in the office is lovely, kind, respectful, and understanding with most things :)…
There could be more improvements in certain areas of the apartments but what time I’m sure the new management will get everything in order..
If you’re looking for a nice place to live with decent rent and an awesome community, this would...
be the apartment complex to live in…

Terrible

Management never around, painstaking process getting packages from office, deceitful marketing makes you think this property is upscale when in reality it is not in any way shape or form. Common areas are never cleaned, expect to see the same litter in your hallway from your neighbors for weeks. There’s a huge camp of transient people that set up tent behind the leasing office- that’s how you know you’re at Nova. Lots of mold everywhere.

Price Gouging for what is offered.

Pros:
- Tiny secluded gym
- Location is in a quiet part of Everett
- "Renovated" apartments are new, but cheaply done.

Cons:
- Yellow water (Not even a Brita filter could filter out the rust no lie)
- Thin walls, i could hear everything in the hallway for a mile
- 10th Ave is a literal drug dealing central area for Everett
- Consistently saw cars broken into (10th Ave)
- I've seen more than one diaper in the pool area after a big family party.
- Elevators are out of commission
- "No smoking" is...
not enforced at all
- Free Parking was removed and replaced with the words loudest and cheapest awnings made out of tin or aluminum.
- Spray chemicals on the grass once a week with no "Keep pet off lawn" sign
- The "Security" they provide is non-existent.
- OVERPRICED for what is offered.
Do not be fooled by how luxurious the main office looks, it does not reflect whats in the apartments.

My Experience:
I was charged $300 in damages, the DAY BEFORE I even moved out. How this even makes sense is beyond me. When I talked to management he told me they charge everyone that amount because carpet cleaning is ~$220 and painting the walls (which they only do touch-ups) costs ~$100. ALSO my carpets were never cleaned before I moved in so where did the deposit money go for the tenant before me? If you try and refute these seemingly random charges, they will just sent it to collections and then your credit score gets screwed up. So there is no winning. At the end of the day, including my deposit that disappeared before I was even moved out, it cost me $500 just to leave.

In a nutshell, stay away from this place. It is a cheap property for the company to train their management (they get changed out basically every year) while simultaneously pulling as much money as they can.

Nova North Hovel

Newly renovated with a mediocre labor and cheap materials. How does a newly renovated bathroom grow mold in the caulking within a week of moving in? Kitchen finishes are hideous and they couldn't even adjust the stove to the height of the countertop.

They state that they have been working on the water pipes but after a year we still had yellow water coming out of the tap. Maybe in the welcome package, instead of all the garbage they put in, they should put a Brita pitcher.

No Smoke signs are...
everywhere, but people smokes in the balconies and the building doors with no repercussion. It gets worse when the neighbors are partying on the parking lot at 3 in the morning and you try the "security" just to have them tell you that is not something they do and that you should call the police ... What a joke!

Reimbursable fee? Another Joke

If you like to live sorrounded by junkies, walk in into your neighbors being questioned by the cops once a month, walk your kids in hallways that smell like marijuana and the sight of overflowing dumpsters, this is the place you want to live in.
