Be wary

Lived from June of 2022 to April of 2024. It was a horrible experience. Went through 5 different leasing managers over the less than 2 years I was there. Maintenence was atrocious, I had my appendix taken out at one point when my dishwasher broke. Asked for help fixing it and was told it was be taken care of the next day. I received no response after that and no one ever showed up, I tried following up and was given no reply (BTW I still have those text messgaes). It's located next to a bus... depot so you often hear loud beeping from the backing-up of busses not to mention the depots' security alarm going off at weird hours of the night. In the summer of 2023 the parking lot was re-paced, this messed with some drainage systems as now when it rains the water sits and pools by the front entrance and creates a mini lake. Its insane. Only thing this place has going for it is the affordability.

Poor Management

My husband and I moved in to a 1 bedroom apartment when Coast Management was the property Managers we put a deposit down in the amount of 1415. We moved in Aug of 2017, prior to move in we got the okay from the leasing manager that our scale baby was approved to live there. December of 2017 we added a puppy to our lease and also paid another 300 bringing our deposit to 1715. We gave our notice that we were leaving in March of 2018, after giving our notice the owner came to do a move out... inspection. When the owner came in he was very upset that we had our scale baby in the apartment and told the new leasing manager at the time that we had three days to get rid of her or leave. Well we never got ANYTHING In writing stating that and she said she was waiting to hear back from the owner on the next steps for that. We moved out the end of March and don't receive anything from anyone until almost May. In the letter we got they were coming after us for an additional 2100 on top of our deposit. I immediately asked for receipts and invoice regarding the damages and repairs they said they needed to have done. Come June I still don't have any information regarding the so called damages but did get some more info stating that they over quoted me on some things and I should be receiving a refund of anywhere from 200-500. When Indigo took over they went back and forth on what needed to happen. I was told something different EVERY TIME I called, that is of course when they answered. It is now almost September 2018 and I still don't have refund nor are they returning ANY calls I put into them. Please just beware of the management. Record all encounters with them as well as get written letters of any approvals they give you so it doesn't hurt you in the long run and ask for receipts upon move out so you don't get overpay back money for damages that they clearly didn't do or overbid you on. Good luck on your stay here at Andante, hope you have better luck than us!

Property Manager at Andanté Apartments responded to this review

Hello Haley, thank you for taking the time to leave us your thoughts. We sincerely apologize that your move-out process with the prior management company didn't go as smoothly as expected. We want to first say that while we apologize for any... unexpected charges you may have received on the initial move-out statement mailed by prior management. We were thankful for the opportunity to review this after new management stepped in to correct it and went through these corrections with you. Please know that we would never charge a resident or former resident unfairly for anything and apologize that it took some time to research and correct by our new management team since it was from prior management’s records. If you would still like further clarification, we would be happy to go through these again with you. We sincerely thank you for your feedback and we hope you are doing well.

Great Customer Service!!

My fiance and I our moving from Southern California and the process though exciting has also been stressful. Our most important priority as we transition was where we would feel safe resting our head. Upon calling Andante Apartments we were introduced to Telisha! Wow! What a kind and service driven individual. She answered all our questions and put our minds to ease. She was friendly, compassionate, and knowledged! She is why we're renting at Andante Apartment Homes!

TERRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE

Majority of the reasons why it’s such a terrible place to live is due to the assistant manager Mark.

He will say he will get back to you by a certain time (using assuring language like “definitely” and “for sure”) and you will never hear from him again until you bring it up. And once you bring it up, it isn’t done so you go through the same process. This has happened a DOZEN of times.

Mark is also very passive aggressive and hard to get a hold of, he’s only in the office 2 times a week for...
half days.

Our fridge has been broken for the whole duration of us living there (6 months); even though we’ve made multiple complaints. We have been waiting for a new one for 2 weeks now.

We’ve even had to throw away food because the fridge is broken and over freezes things and we have no been reimbursed. Our electricity bill skyrocketed due to the broken fridge and we are not being reimbursed.

Our heaters were broken for a couple months during the winter.

No door stops were installed, we had to ask multiple times for them.

We’ve had 3 different events with out toilet being broken.

Save yourself the biggest headache and avoid this place at all costs.
