Village Green East Apartments

Between the faucets not working, door knobs falling off, if you’re lucky enough to have heat, it will be RIDICULOUSLY hot in your apartment. Maybe hot water? Maybe not. Every day is a new obstacle. The office people are clueless and rude. Enjoy the pool of chipping paint, if it’s not under “maintenance.” This place was a huge mistake.

I really enjoyed my time at Village Green. The apartments are clean and well maintained. The office staff is very friendly and easy to work with. Having a pool was a huge plus.

We loved our apartment and thought the rent was a better deal then some of the other apartments in Janesville.

Not here to change nobody decision about village green but what is the truth is the truth that I see being here and what is done to me. Village green apartments is nice on the outside but you will be tricked up somewhat in the inside. There is very poor maintenance at this place. You call the office and ask them what you need to be done to your place and it will take about 2-3 months before they come in your place. Maintenance people drive back in fourth driving behind each other as if almost... they are not doing anything important. When you renew your lease with them they give you a piece of paper saying (not quoting) how they are happy that you have renew with them and they are looking forward to keep filling the needs of there tenants, but that is a honest lie. Things don’t get done right away at all. It’s like what you want done is not important. Hoping to move soon next year and find a better place. Also, when it snows the parking lots and walk way is terrible! Real maintenance people are needed here or maybe a whole new team at village green that will make these apartments better that will not get more bad reviews then good. Read More

I have lived here for two years. They have raised prices $200 in those two years. Not only that but they don’t shovel or salt sidewalks which led to me falling hard this winter. The water heater often goes out. Once every 3-4 weeks. I work long hours during spring and fall, no reason a water heater should be tapped out at 11:30 on a Saturday night. The “remodeled with new appliances” place I was promised had an obviously used stove and the laundry machines only takes cards and often loses Wi-Fi... and do not work but still charge you.
