Good place I really liked living here, there weren’t many complaints. The first property manager we had was great, then they hired another one and it was like talking to the void. Towards the end of the lease they hired an another one and she rocks. It kinda sucks that there’s only one elevator, but the apartment is right by the river and has beautiful views of the city and river. The maintenance guys are friendly and missed on of my requests and were super understanding and apologetic. They... also have coffee for residents and donuts on Saturdays. Location on the lower east side is fantastic and is kinda in the center of everything, and walkable to most “party streets” like Brady and Water. I have never, ever felt unsafe living here and the apartments are beautiful.

Not worth it

Save yourself the experience of horrible management. Location is accessible and well priced, but the people running the property are such a headache. I noticed erroneous charges on my account (such as parking when i don't own a car) and was unable to pay on the online portal due to the technological error. I noticed before rent was due. I spent weeks calling, emailing, and going in person with little to no response. I was served a 5 day eviction notice despite attempts to pay and no response... from property management. I had to spend an afternoon calling every Red Tail Residential owned property in the state just to get someone to pick up the phone, who then turned around and blamed the issues on me instead of accepting responsibility for their poor management and lack of communication. My home itself is lovely, but the outside experience has been less than pleasant.

Don't Fall For It

This place is the worst - I made the mistake of signing a long lease and am so excited I am so close to being done. The maintenance is a joke - nothing worked in my unit when I moved in (the oven range was broken, moldy washing machine, dishwasher exploded, heat/ac wasn't working, dead birds constantly on patio) and I have probably had 20+ maintenance issues in one year alone. No rent discounts or anything either. Then when the issues were marked fixed / resolved, they actually weren't. Three... times the garage hasn't been working so none of us could get out of the building with our cars, and I was late to work as a result. Once, the maintenance people were doing something next door to my apartment and banged on my walls so loudly 4 of my picture frames fell down and broke, and the property manager wouldn't even reimburse me the cost or discount my rent the amount of the cheap frames.

Otherwise, the place is way overpriced, dirty, smells like weed, property managers do nothing, the list goes on. Don't fall for the high price and thinking this is actually a decent place to live - it's not.

1910 on water

This place has gone way downhill over the last year or two since new management came in. Recently tried to raise my rent by 34% after living here for 3+ years. They have had a constant flow of new maintenance and office workers, the common areas have not been maintained (garbage overflowing, dirty hallways), and overall quality has gone way down (loud neighbors, hallways smell bad, homeless people in lobby). Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Sucks

This place has constant turnover in its leasing office it’s comical - the building is extremely overpriced and it’s run like a motel….dirty, loud, inconsiderate neighbors, unresponsive staff
