BIG RED FLAG!
This is the WORST place I have EVER LIVED! If I could leave zero stars I would.
The internet (century link)and directv are built into the property and linked to your keyless entry and alarm system. Either one goes out and you don’t have any recourse with the direct service both will tell you to contact the vendor. Directv goes through Sky satellite which is fairly responsive. The internet goes through Mereo Networks which are HORRIBLE to deal with. They are in another state and when the... internet goes out it can take 1-3 days for them to do anything and no communication from the office staff and nothing taken off your rent for the inconvenience. I work from home and I’m required to have internet. Not having it can cause me to loose my job. In addition this when the internet is out the security system beeps constantly and you can’t arm or disarm remotely nor can you lock or unlock the door remotely. Also the security gates on the property don’t work so the whole place is unsecured.
The water, sewer and trash are also tacked onto rent. Those cost have increased drastically in the 10 months from $65 to now $125 a month.
Parking is a complete joke.
Since I have moved in, the internet has been out multiple times usually 6-8 hours at a time. In Feb 2024 it was out from 2:30pm Monday till 8:30pm Wed. Now a month later it’s out again with not eta of repair and I’m working off my cell hotspot.
I have also had to have someone come realign the shower door 3 times, it’s still not fixed.
The washer and dryer were not connected properly, I connected the vent hose for the dryer on my own. After 6 months I finally realized the water lines were crossed and maintenance had to come switch them then the washer stopped spinning.
The kitchen sink was also leaking, maintenance came and found the gasket that was supposed to be between the sink and drain was installed incorrectly on the bottom of the drain. He did the best he could to fix it. But still looks bad.
The ice maker in the freezer has never worked, I haven’t bothered as I don’t care. But someone else might.
Plus side, if you have a 1 bed you only share 1 wall
Also having a small yard is nice for bbq or having friends over.
Take warning and do your research. Currently, there are more people moving out than in.
As SOON as my lease is up I will be moving if not before then
