Left in the lurch

Applied and waited 3 weeks for my welcome letter and a phone call telling me to rush activating services 2 days before moving 700+ miles with an infant only to get a call the next day rescinding approval with no explanation other than “we’re really busy. also, it might take 3 weeks to return your rent and deposit”. Place looks great otherwise but the professionalism is severely lacking, at best.

Hidden charges and cheap construction

So first the good: the CenturyLink internet in the apartments is actually pretty good. Didn't have any drop outs or slow downs that I noticed with normal use of steaming services and various downloads of large(1GB+) files. Thanks CenturyLink!

The rest of the apartment, well, you're lucky if the complex decided to plug in cables to the ports in the closet so you can actually use the ethernet ports in the apartment, the appliances are cheap, you only get 1/2 a water tank so you can't really take...
baths, and walls are thin so you can hear what everyone is up to.

There were lots of kids in the complex with normally wouldn't be an issue but the complex wasn't built with kids in mind as there isn't any place for the kids to play. The closest place is outside of the gates, a mile or two down the road. As a result the kids run, bike, skate, all throughout the complex and it's dangerous for them with cars coming and going and trying to park. So if you have kids that enjoy being active, you might want to look somewhere else.

Annoying but agreed upon fees time: you WILL be hit up with a $25 or $50 "valet trash" fee as this is a 'luxury' apartment so any rent price you see, jack it up $50 a month. Parking is a bit of a headache as they do have free parking but those spaces fill up towards the end of the day and you might just have to park across the complex to find an open spot. This is due to all of the detached garages built taking up space that could be used for more parking. They do try to push you to get a garage which is another $100 per month.

Hidden fees: let's say you want to move out at the end of your lease, well, that's $225 more for their "clean and pack" package. It costs more if you decide to not get it as they will charge you a "carpet clean" fee as well as an "apartment clean" fee which amounts to around $400. None of this was ever addressed let alone agreed upon in the lease agreement that I signed. So in short: moving out? Pay them more money on top of the money you already paid.

You get what you pay for: cheap construction, cheap appliances, hidden move-out fees.

Worst place I’ve ever lived

This is by far the worst place I’ve ever lived. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful and new looking finishes. It’s a nice place with new touches, but you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls and this is the worst management team I’ve ever dealt with. So very rude and definitely don’t care about their tenants. Very fake people who want only whats best for them. Highly DONT recommend. Good luck if you do.

Management sucks

I would not suggest living here. The facility’s are poor. Management is very rude. Once you sign your lease forget about any customer service.

Nothing is Private

Don't judge a book by its cover...sure the pictures are nice but it is POOORLY Constructed. Paper thin walls and ceilings and floors, No sound barriers whatsoever. We hear the neighbors do Everything! SEX, fights, private discussions, bathroom time, crying babies, dogs barking...we have only been here a few months..not only that, now dealing bug infestation... this is going to be a LONG Year without sleep. Best advice..if you choose to live here, stock up on ear plugs. We can't wait to get... out!
