Don't waste your money here!

Awful place to live. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY MOVING/LIVING HERE! We never get any sleep because of the fire alarms constantly going off at 3am. And there's always an excuse from the management telling us to "rest assured" that the problems are being fixed but they're not! And idiot neighbors/guests shooting off fireworks from the penthouse. It's a pretty building and the units are nice, but the quality of living is well below standard.

Incredible staff and apartments!

The team at The Den are always ready to help and provide a service-driven experience. The Den is well-kept and in a great location in Denver. Love working with Cicely and the rest of the team!

Not a "Luxury" experience. Actually, below average.

The apartment seems nice on the surface... But I've experienced a series of ongoing issues and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I think there's potential here to have a good apartment experience, but I've lived here for 7 months now and have had a really BAD experience.

* The rooftop hot tub is great - when it's WORKING! The hot tub has been empty (broken) for OVER A MONTH now. Also, while the view from the rooftop is great, you can't really see over the walls from the hot tub.

* My apartment...
has problems with a SEWAGE ODOR. I've been in contact with the managers since moving in 7 months ago, and the problems have still not been resolved. I would have thought this type of problem was isolated to one or two units, but now that I look closer I see it on a few other reviews here too. This is the number one reason I'd recommend avoiding this place.

* The staff are generally responsive, but don't always follow through on things and don't seem to be really invested in creating a great experience for the residents here. Actually, in most of my interactions with them I'm given the feeling that I'm interrupting something important and they don't have time to help me - not a great experience.

* The package lockers are great, but I've had some packages that were delivered to the leasing office either because of size, a required signature, or some other reason. When this happens, the staff doesn't even take the time to notify me that a package has arrived. I had one package sit in the leasing office for over a month because I wasn't expecting it and was never notified that they received anything.

* On a positive note, I haven't had any problems with noise - but this might vary quite a bit depending which unit you're in.

* Most of the convenient shops below are overpriced. Would be great to have a convenient lunch/dinner option without spending $25.

Don't let the "Luxury" fool you.

Things that were advertised:
- Secured parking garage with resident-only access from the 2nd floor up.
- Secured access building, only residents can enter the upper floors of the building, use the elevators, etc.
- A year-round heated pool

All of the three things mentioned above didn't happen. Parking garage was never secured. Gates became operational, someone would hit one, then became in-operational indefinitely because they were "installing new warning lights" and "needed a part" that...
apparently never came. Because of this, several cars were broken into, windows smashed the entire two years I lived there. My license plate was stolen off my vehicle on the 4th floor of the parking garage.

The secured access into the building on my floor was compromised for over a year. The door from the garage (which was no longer secure), into the building, was broken because of poor construction. I had requested someone to look at it to be fixed. After months of not seeing it fixed, my storage unit down the hall of my apartment was broken into very easily, as well as several other storage units in that room. Thousands of dollars of things were stolen, and the Den was no help. Refused to look at the security cameras because "you can't really see anything on those anyway", and then basically said "we do not guarantee safety or security of the building or your belongings in any way."

Lastly, the pool. Advertised as "year-round heated pool". This was great on those random days where it would be 80 in February. They claimed that the heated pool didn't meet City of Denver requirements to be open all year round, so they stopped heating the pool. Instead of just doing what the City required. My guess was that it was getting too expensive for them to keep it heated year round. Also, hot tub was broken frequently.

In closing-- don't move here. Management is terrible. You will get your things stolen, because criminals target this high-end building. Even after setting up a meeting with the manager about my concerns, no one was helpful, nor did they really care that multiple things have been stolen from me despite the building being "resident-only". For being a "luxury apartment" and paying the higher price, I was left feeling like I was not getting what I was paying for, and not getting what the leasing agents boasted about during the walking tour.

Sewage Smell

The apartments were great but when I looked at one the bathroom in the one bedroom we looked at smelled like sewage!! Sewage is toxic so I didnt move in. If they are showing a until that smells like that I cannot imagine other units dont smell like that. It was sooo gross.
