Ovation Apartments

Where do I begin? To the homeless people sleeping in the unsecured bike and pet spa rooms to the rude and passive aggressive, assistant manager or with the unplowed driveway, lack of maintenance, and unsecured entry ways into Ovation. There are so many issues with this complex..I don't know if I can name them all. BEWARE AND RUN! Communication from management is horrible, corporate is a basically nonexistent. You can leave a message but they'll defer to the manager. The ovation team can usually... be seen sitting on their phones in the office but when you call with issues, become defensive and rude.

Walls are extremely thin, paper thin! You can hear normal level conversations.

We found a homeless person sleeping in the bike room across from our apartment on more than one occasion and they didn't seem to care. Officers stated this was a problem here and they could enter with no problem (without their code or fob). Oh yay for us. Go read the captions on the pictures. One stairwell reeked of urine because that was the preferred bathroom for the trespassers.

Garage doors are left open, cars have been stolen. I think most 5 star reviews are fake and/or past employees. Most residents we talk to have had similar incidents and are moving out/not renewing.

We were told we were more than welcome to use the EV charging across the street at the sister property. Today, they basically told us it was for "their" residents when I let them know a nonEV car was parked there.

Have had nothing but bad experiences here and bad management. We have had three issues only living here a month and they have all been handled poorly. the first issue was prior to us moving in. There was work to be done on the front door (still has yet to be done) and our kitchen faucet. She assured us it would be done PRIOR to moving in, it wasn't. It took a week for maintenance to fix it. We had to send another email (because there isn't a link on the actual resident portal to make work... orders) because our shower drain wasn't draining, also prior to us moving in. They do not inform us when our packages arrive, even though that was a big bonus they advertised when looking at apartments. And we had water damages in our walls. It took multiple emails for them to come and fix the spots of damage. We were never kept in the loop about if someone was coming and when even though they had to come more than once. Once maintenance, left our apartment was A MESS. Wall spackle and paint was smeared from our laundry room (where the damage was ) to the door, all over the floor. They used our sink, moving the dishes onto the counter (and left them there) splashed food debris all over the counter, filled the big tupperware in the sink with more spackle from their hands and left it. Best apartment community I have ever lived at!! And I've lived at many. The office staff is always friendly and helpful, but not just helpful, they not only have made my living experience good, they made it easier! With social activities that are super, same or next day maintenance that is super quick and quality work, and always being available to answer any questions. I needed a very quick move-in and they worked magic to make it happen.
