How quickly things change
Be careful when reading reviews for this property. They changed ownership and management in Dec 2018. They went from being one of the best apt. complexes to one of the worst. The area and apts. still look nice. The windows are old, drafty, single paned. Insulation non existent. They replaced the toilets and shower heads with ultra low flow. Check out how they work to ensure you can live with that. The office staff is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Completely inept and unprofessional.... They never answer the phone or respond to emails. They sent residents a note asking that we not "drop in" the office without an appointment, as they are very overworked. Since the don't return phone calls or emails it makes it difficult. They removed the rent mail slot and encourage you to use the online portal which is fine except for the charges unless you do automatic withdrawal. Be careful though because it will fail without notice and you will be served eviction notice with a minimum late charge of $75. after the third of the month. (no notice that it failed). You can get this resolved but it is very time consuming. You are responsible for all the utilities. You set up accounts with Xcel and City of Longmont but you are also billed monthly by the Apartment complex your share of complex utilities ~$30 a month for a one bedroom. Office is perpetually late on renewing leases and then raised my rent 33% after I gave my 30 day notice 5 days after my lease expired. They also said I am being charged the increase retroactively! I have emails dated in July of me requesting a meeting regarding my lease with no reply. I also went into the office and was assured not to worry, they were 2 months behind on all their renewals.Their is actually much more to this cautionary alert. Many long term residents leaving. I do have to give a shout out to the maintenance who have always been prompt and courteous.
