How quickly things change

Be careful when reading reviews for this property. They changed ownership and management in Dec 2018. They went from being one of the best apt. complexes to one of the worst. The area and apts. still look nice. The windows are old, drafty, single paned. Insulation non existent. They replaced the toilets and shower heads with ultra low flow. Check out how they work to ensure you can live with that. The office staff is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. Completely inept and unprofessional.... They never answer the phone or respond to emails. They sent residents a note asking that we not "drop in" the office without an appointment, as they are very overworked. Since the don't return phone calls or emails it makes it difficult. They removed the rent mail slot and encourage you to use the online portal which is fine except for the charges unless you do automatic withdrawal. Be careful though because it will fail without notice and you will be served eviction notice with a minimum late charge of $75. after the third of the month. (no notice that it failed). You can get this resolved but it is very time consuming. You are responsible for all the utilities. You set up accounts with Xcel and City of Longmont but you are also billed monthly by the Apartment complex your share of complex utilities ~$30 a month for a one bedroom. Office is perpetually late on renewing leases and then raised my rent 33% after I gave my 30 day notice 5 days after my lease expired. They also said I am being charged the increase retroactively! I have emails dated in July of me requesting a meeting regarding my lease with no reply. I also went into the office and was assured not to worry, they were 2 months behind on all their renewals.Their is actually much more to this cautionary alert. Many long term residents leaving. I do have to give a shout out to the maintenance who have always been prompt and courteous.

NOPE NOPE NOPETY NOPE NOPE

I was so happy to move in here. The staff including the maintenance staff were wonderful. They knew every resident by name and were very pleasant. Then the Echelon people came and ruined all of that. They completely got rid of ALL the staff (maintenance included) right before the winter holidays. Since the new people have been here nothing has been going smoothly at all. There have been several charges on my rent bill that are just automatically put there by a computer (those words came directly... from the new manager), and it's difficult to get someone who can actually fix that problem. The old managers would answer the phone themselves, but now there's an automated recording when you call the front office. The recording doesn't give you an option to talk directly to a person, but you can leave your name, number, and a brief message and wait for them to call you back. They've been here for several months now, and they still don't have things running smoothly. It's been tiresome to live here since the change in ownership, and I'm leaving as soon as my lease is up.

No word on when the pool will be open.....beautiful picture though.

It's so sad that the pool is "under repair" right now and may not be open for a while. Management can't give a time when it will be open. Summer 2016.

Property Manager at Stonebridge at Twin Peaks responded to this review

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed about not knowing when the pool repairs would be completed. We work very hard to provide exceptional customer service to everyone and would never want anyone to walk away feeling like you did. I am happy... to say the pool and spa were opened the first part of July and will be open year round. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any further feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve.

Life at Stonegate...

In this little town of Longmont we live on the corner with the best view of the Front Range of the Rockies left in town. A walking path with more wildlife than most state parks and a field across the road filled with deer and elk day and night. We are minutes from a scenic and rustic downtown that rivals even Vegas sometimes. And since several of us were just laid off due to fossils at the ground breaking of a new plastic factory, this would be a true gift from GOD. So I wish the best for all... who enter and hope we all have a great day regardless!
