Living in this complex for 22 months
We have been living in this complex for 22 months, and I feel it's important to share my experience which I hope get that from real resident. They offer gift cards to residents who leave positive feedback, so I encourage you to read all reviews carefully:
1. Cockroaches: We’ve had cockroaches throughout our entire stay. The management only sends pest control randomly, and nothing ever gets resolved.
2. Overcharged Utility Bills: We are charged around $280 for utilities for two people every... month, based on estimates. Both of us work full-time, and we even emailed the area manager (Lina) about this issue. She quickly blamed the previous community manager for the overcharges.
3. Gate Issues: The gate has been out of service about 80% of the time, leaving it open and unsecured.
4. Clubhouse Miscommunication: On the first day, we were told the clubhouse was free to use, with only an $80 deposit required. However, when we tried to use it, they told us we had to pay the full amount. They even locked the room, and we couldn’t even play billiards.
5. Utility Billing Issues: During the first year, they didn’t follow the contract terms and only invoiced utilities based on estimates. Whenever they needed more money, they would charge us more.
6. Trash Valet Problems: We had multiple issues with the trash valet service. When we raised concerns, they simply told us to call them. Additionally, trash valet was collected randomly, but we were still required to pay for the service.
7. Pool Issues: The pool was closed for 40 days during the peak summer season, allegedly because they were trying to obtain a certificate (according to them).
8. Pool Cleanliness: The pool was consistently dirty and was only cleaned once a week.
9. Poor Common Area Services: Services in common areas, such as the gym and pool, were consistently bad—either dirty or out of service.
Think two times and in long term before move here ...
