HORRIBLE Moldy apartments - Emory University Students should avoid renting here.

Absolutely horrible experience. Emory point gave my daughter and her room mate an apartment with a leaky roof that they have not been able to fix despite multiple attempts at fixing it. Every single time, the leasing office and maintenance staff has had a bad attitude about helping these girls, have not done their job right. Finally I called to speak to them and the response was rude. My daughter has lived with mold in the bathroom for an entire year now. The staff has finally fixed the... apartment but there is sawdust and mold treatment chemicals all over. When I call to speak with the management, they find excuses to not respond. The girls need to be given a new apartment or their money back in full with compensation for this nuisance. Emory University needs to have oversight regarding how their students are housed and the living conditions of these apartments

No refund of the deposit

They will claim you made "damages" to the rooms after your moving out and charge you an amount almost equal to or even more than your deposit. If you try to contact them, neither a respond or a proof (photo showing "damage") will be received.

Nice location, bad everything else

Where to even start. It is true that an Emory Point has an excellent location. That is undeniable. But everything else is terrible. The management Where to even start. It is true that a Emory Point has an excellent location. That is undeniable. But everything else is terrible. The management is not only ineffectual, but extremely rude. Anytime you talk to them they have a massive attitude problem. There are roaches. They do not clean common areas. They do not respond to maintenance requests at... all unless you harass them, in which case they get very rude and disrespectful. Power routinely goes out. They just do a generally poor job of managing what could be a good building.

Our fire alarm/the building’s fire alarms have been going off at random times for weeks. The apartments should be listed as half the rent they are now: they are nice, but the rental price is not at all proportional to the state of the apartments. Emory Point constantly takes advantage of their residents.

Good location, terrible guest parking

Nice apartments close to Emory and CHOA. Guest parking is a nightmare though. At best, they park in the 7th floor of the garage on the opposite side of the complex. However, it often doesn’t work well which they just blame on the company that manages the parking. Your guests will hate parking here.
