Don’t move here!
I have lived here less than a month and I’m already about to break the lease. The leasing office folks are super nice but nothing is getting done in a timely fashion and the community as a whole is just nasty. The people are nasty and litter everywhere. They leave leaky trash bags in the hallways until they get ready to commute to the dumpster and never clean up the messes they left behind. This would probably explain the roaches that I’ve literally seen crawling out of spaces in the walls/ near... the sinks that aren’t sealed properly.
I have had a leak in my bedroom closet and one in the bathroom that I wrote on my move in form. Considering the closet is carpeted and mold is a high probability, you’d think this would be resolved quickly. They came out, took the carpet up after a few days and said it’s probably just another unit leaking and we’ll look into it. Days later they came and brought a fan to dry out the floor and replaced the carpet. Never even put the wall cover for the furnace back on. But them changing out the carpet made me think it was resolved. Nope! I walk in my closet last night when I got back in town and the floor is soaked. Who changes the carpet but doesn’t address the leak?
I haven’t even unpacked all of my clothes yet and had them in cloth totes on the ground. EVERYTHING IS NOW MILDEWED and smells. I’ve been gone for days. Who knows how long my stuff has been swimming and who knows where this water is even coming from! So not only is this issue seriously inconvenient, it’s also potentially hazardous (because mold) and now my personal property is damaged. I know I won’t make it a year here and wouldn’t recommend this spot to anyone. The appliances are old and raggedy (it takes 30 min for water to boil on the stove top) and there’s not even enough power running through here to use a standard washer. This place is TRASH. They don’t have a phone number that they give to residents and they don’t respond to emails. You literally have to walk in the leasing office to get a response OR dig through other terrible reviews to find the number to their property manager named Sabina who won’t call you back either. The online portal sucks and they e been charging me $11 for renters insurance since November when I have sent them my renters thru my insurance multiple times. If I did my job as poorly as these people, I wouldn’t have one.
