Not Worth It

I lived here for 7 years. The apartments themselves are fine, but I wish I could have moved out sooner. It’s hard when rent increases all the time, and they try to nickle and dime you time and time again. The headache that you get from management is not worth it though. Here are a few anecdotes to help determine how much you want to do deal with it:

I once recommended someone to rent an apartment there because they offer a reward for referrals. They refused to honor it on a technicality.

My...
first year I was offered a free indoor parking spot in the garage. I asked a few days ahead of time, and they said I could turn in the garage key anytime in the next few weeks. A couple days later, I found an additional charge on my rent for an extra month of a parking space because they told me I could hold onto it beyond the 1st of the month.

My final rent payment was only for the first 5 days of the month, but it was listed on their payment portal for a full month on the 1st. I had two separate employees blame me for not reminding them for a third time that I was moving out, and offered me no free alternatives to pay, and the portal does not allow the payment amount to be changed, so I had to spend additional money just to pay them my rent.

I have now moved out and they are charging me hundreds of dollars for normal wear and tear and some things that were broken when I moved in.

Some things to consider when applying: They generally do apartment inspections multiple times per year. They renovate, but really only for things that they can try to sell you on for signing. Walk around the property to some of the areas you might not see right away. There are mud pits in every patch of grass except the ones around the office. The dog park hasn’t been mulched in years. These complaints weren’t always the case, but they have gone downhill. Don’t put yourself through all of this.

It looks nice but it's a lie.

I truly think any good review of this place was created by management. I've lived here for 15 months. Since then, the roof has been ripped off and red cross had to come to provide temporary housing, the boiler failed cutting off hot water for a few days, the water main broke coming into the building and flooded the garage - side note to that the fire department said they've been warning Willow Crossing about a bad water main. Every time a drop of water falls from the sky the garage floods -... literally not a joke it could sprinkle for 5 minutes and there is standing water in the garage because they are trying to use two small sump pumps to get water out of a 40 car garage. When they show you the apartments they say you can't hear noise from your neighbors because the walls and ceilings are made from concrete, then you move in and you can hear everything that each of your neighbors are doing. I can hear my upstairs neighbor talking through the exhaust vent above the stove. When it rains the windows leak - this happens in my apt, the apt across the hall, and the apt down the hall. People let their kids run around the halls and scream. The fire alarm goes off once a week. The list goes on and on. Don't do it. I know it looks nice but it's not.

Do not live here

Mold infested dangerous place to live. Random gun shots, loud people, dirty hallways, doors falling apart.

Horrible & Un forgetful Experience

Deceitful management team and incompetent manager. Do not rent any of their property unit because I can guarantee you will regret signing a lease with them. Dirty and smelling (dog poop inside the elevator almost every day) unit floors and roaches and spiders all nooks and crannies of the apartments. The services & amenities does not justify the amount of rent you pay. Trust me you will be embarrassed to welcome your guests here. Pls guys I’m telling you; I’ve been there don’t go there rather... look for somewhere else you can be more comfortable and get value for money. Bad & insensitive Management

AWESOME

Every property has ups and downs. The majority of negative experiences come as a result of having poor neighbors. I have lived here for 4 years through a change in management. New management it WAY better. Pay your rent, don't destroy property and you will have a good experience here.
Advice, if you're going to sign a legally binding contract, read it and make sure you understand it.
