Poor quality, poorer service
From the moment of our move-in, we had problems. On our move-in inspection form I documented that there were small holes scattered around the apartment's ceiling (at least 1 in every room). There was a gaping hole on our balcony. When this was mentioned to the property manager, we were told that they were planning on renovating and reconstructing certain balconies over the summer. The floor creaked everywhere you stepped, sagging in some places. You could literally stand in certain spots and the... floor would just creak when you breathed. It took them over a year to replace our balcony's screen door that had a hole in it big enough for our cat to squeeze through. The outside storage was located on our balcony, but the locking mechanism was rusted beyond repair. That wasn't a huge deal since it was upstairs, but it should've been replace before we moved in. Our blinds became damaged because of our cat. We were offered new blinds with a resigning of a lease, but we never received them. And then the apartments had the gall to try and charge us to replace them after we moved out. The windows were not properly sealed. We had mold growing between the screens and panes in BOTH bedrooms. When a maintenance work order was placed about this, the maintenance worker came in, looked at it, and completed the work order. It took more than one work order to get anything done and even then, it wasn't done to completion. During the construction of the new apartment complex off of 40 and Avon Ave., Hunter Ridge decided to allow the construction company to dump gigantic piles of dirt in their already overcrowded parking lot, effectively removing parking spaces designated for paying residents. We lived there from January of 2018 to March of 2021 and it was a waste of time, sanity, and money.
Reading these 5 star reviews has me thinking JMG is using fake profiles to rate this place higher than it ever deserves.
If you place any value in your living space, DO NOT LIVE HERE. They will give you the runaround on work orders and attempt to raise your rent for absolutely no other reason than greed.

Thank you for providing us with your valuable feedback. We’re disappointed with your issues that weren’t exactly to your liking. We hope you give us another chance soon, so we can share an even more positive experience. We have invested hundreds of... thousands of dollars into the community since we purchased it to make it a better place to live. When work orders are called in we try to take care of them as soon as possible, though sometimes there is a delay getting parts because of covid. The dirt was from our construction when we had retaining walls replaced.
