Four Years of On-Time Rent, Still Treated Like Trash

I’ve been a resident here for four years, always paying my rent on time every month, yet I’m still treated like trash by the management. When I reported mold concerns, they refused to address the issue directly and instead sent text messages that were so poorly written and unprofessional, it really shows the level of care they put into their work. They’re too afraid to speak to us openly but have no problem talking behind our backs. If they have to enter your apartment for repairs, they’ll... either turn off your cameras or, if they don’t, you’ll hear them bad-mouthing you while they work.

The maintenance team came in and blew dust, debris, and who knows what else all over our personal belongings. There’s now a layer of it on everything, including in our child’s room and all over his toys. And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll pay $250+ a month to run an ancient 1988 AC unit. To top it off, the dog park is just as poorly maintained as the rest of the property.

If you care about respect, quality maintenance, or professional communication, do not move here. They clearly don’t care about their residents or their pets.

Stuck

I first moved in a little over a year ago because it was one of the most affordable places around. Some maintenance issues such as A/C failing every now and then and I have to flip both breakers off then back on (which indicates bad breakers already). The ceiling started leaking into the light fixture from the apartment above. Once my lease was ending a year later, I had to resign because it was still the only place I could afford but they bumped up the rent by $300. Now I look at it, and the... price is almost back down to what it used to be. I'm looking at a new job and need to move out, but they're charging two months buy-out fee AND still charging rent for those two months. I'm stuck here because I can't afford to pay the fee.

Hi,
We are sorry to hear that you have not enjoyed your experience in our community. We try our best to make the resident experience as enjoyable as possible when someone decides to call one of our communities home. Although there may be issues over...
the course of a resident’s lease, we investigate these issues thoroughly to ensure they are taken care of in a complete and professional manner. Our maintenance team works hard to investigate concerns and complete requests quickly and effectively. Renewal offers are based on supply and demand as well as the current market. The current pricing and availability of our apartments can change daily. An apartment that costs a certain rate one day, may not cost that same rate the next. We are sorry to hear that you no longer wish to stay in our community. Unfortunately, we must abide by the early termination requirements set forth by the lease agreement. We must remain fair, consistent, and transparent with all residents by following the lease agreement signed and agreed upon by all parties. We appreciate your feedback and review.

Dissappointed

Mice, ants, constant AC issues, unproffesional responses from staff.

Decent for what you pay

Nice quiet area. Never had a problem with neighbors. Close to pretty much anything you need. The apartments are older and not very energy efficient, so not helpful for your electric bill. Expect to spend money when you move out (i.e. professional carpet cleaning and their "express clean") so don't expect your full deposit back if you pay one. As mentioned before a bit pricey for what you get.

Good, but a little pricey.

Nice quiet area. Close to restaurants and shops and the interstate. A little expensive for the size of the apartment.
