POOR MANAGEMENT/ HIGH CRIME

There has been armed robbery, people in and out of apartments constantly, drug deals in the corner of the parking lot, no security, and auto theft and break ins and the management does NOT seem to care. AT ALL. They sweep everything under the rug. I pay TOO MUCH of my hard earned money to be treated like a piece of crap. They do not take ANYTHING. ESPECIALLY ANYTHING THAT I LISTED ABOVE SERIOUSLY. I am scared here, my neighbors are scared and management has done NOT ONE THING to ensure my... safety. What kind of management will allow their community to feel that way? One who is money hungry and simply could care less.

Awful

Bad management and maintenance. Haven't had any repairs in over 2 mo. Water leaks, bad plumbing everywhere. Too many lil rule and always change. Was told be maintenance to stop complaining about my apt. Problems he was going to have 30 dated lol. It's slum living sorry I moved there. AWFUL!!!

New Management

New Management purchased property April 2017. It is now June 2019. Lived at complex for two years. False promise after false promise from leasing office, albeit not their misinformed fault. Before moving in promised gate to be operational, promised 24/7 gym access, promised common areas would be gutted and refinished, promised pool access, promised repaved parking lot and the lists goes on and on. The only promise that occurred in two years has been the 24/7 gym access.
After speaking with a few...
residents, including my own experience, I would agree that the other bad reviews are in line with most tenants experiences. The only positive I can state is the office leasing staff is nice and our apartment unit has been redone which includes new paint, carpet, kitchen cabinets/appliance and bathroom sink. It also appears that our unit is one of the few that has been redone. My advice is wait a few months/years for the new owners to complete their false promises.

We are pleased to report that we sent a notice to all residents within the past few weeks outlining all current projects that are... happening, as well as upcoming projects. We do hope that you are seeing the impact made within the community as we work toward keeping our promises! Our current or completed projects include but are not limited to: New gate system is completed (please be reminded to pick up your gate tag if you have not yet done so), upgraded common area hallways are almost completed- Only 6 more buildings to go! The new pool is currently being installed and will be functional for the residents to use within the upcoming weeks. Asphalt repair has been delayed due to weather but is still on the schedule to be completed in the upcoming weeks (please be on the lookout for that schedule!). Gym is accessible 24/7 via your 4-didget code that you turned into the office for secured access. If you are having any issues accessing this, please contact us directly so that we may promptly fix this issue for you. There will be multiple other projects going on throughout the summer months, and while we admittedly got a slow start due to unforeseen circumstances and more than anticipated rainfall, we are hopeful that our valued residents will be happy with the progress we are making to ensure we keep the promises we have made! Empty promises

This place is awful! The office staff is rude and incompetent. Of Course the listing says they are under new management but the new management is just as terrible as the old management. The maintenance guys are really nice but they are very limited in what they can do. They really can only do what the office tells them and thats it. There is no controlled entry the gate hasn’t worked in decades. There is no 24 hour workout facility. The air conditions are old and barely work enough to cool the... living room they have never once come to change the filter or anything.The pool was barely working all last summer. The windows and the patio doors are very very old we have to put plastic on the door and the windows because the draft is so bad.The heat and the air is going out along with your money. We are still getting ice in our window seals but they said the windows were fine. There was a hole in the the brick outside that caused water to leak into our apartment it ruined and molded the carpet and ruined our couch. It took them a month to come and fix it oh and since they took so long to fix that now the wall on the inside of our apartment is literally falling apart and there is a hole in the wall now that is molding. We told them about that in December so we will see how long it takes to for them to fix that. Our tub is literally cracking on the inside and its rusting on the outside. They told us it was fine. We have to give our 3 year old showers we he should be enjoying bathtime. I once called the office to tell them that the dryer was broken in our building and the guy on the phone told me “Oh no you have to call the company yourself”. Be aware that they only show you what they want you to see the very few apartments that they have renovated. The hallways smell and they barely ever have anyone come and clean them. The hallways look awful the wallpaper is tearing and there are huge holes in the walls. You don't want to move here.

Do NOT live here

Do NOT live here. I should have listened to the other reviews but I was stupid am paying for it.
- The key didn't lock my door. When I went back to the office they just said "here's the master. Bring it back and we'll make copies." How am I supposed to do that when there's only 1 key that fits my door? And I am now actively living in this apartment? I ended up paying out of my own pocket to have copies made.
- The handle on my back door was busted. The gutter was hanging off the roof. The...
toilet ran. The tub was so clogged it wouldn't drain at all. The garbage disposal didn't work. I found no less than 5 screws in my carpeting.
- I was promised their workout center was going to be under construction by the end of summer to make it 24 hours. A very key reason why I moved in. It's now the beginning of December and nothing has happened. The "gym" is only open when the office is. M-F 9-6pm. Sat 10-2pm. And not on Sun. So if you have a day job, it's useless.
- Pool was open MAYBE 3 weeks. It was constantly shut down including being shut down by the Wayne County Health Board for water quality. They lock access to the bathrooms in the pool area when the office isn't open. Which is also a major health issue.
- My hanging gutter literally fell off the roof. No replacement.
- 4 metal sheet panels that were attached to the outside entrance area have fallen off in the last 3-4 weeks.
- My sink leaked for the first 3-4 weeks after moving in. They sent various people when I complained enough but it took over a month.
- My heat stopped working when was below 40 outside. A verifiable emergency. No one came to fix it until after 1pm the next day.
- There is a drain in the parking lot that's been sinking in since I moved in. It's gotten worse and worse and worse. This brilliant complex's solution? Let's put 2 big boards over the hole!
- Most recently the lock on the front door of my building is broken. The piece that screws into the door frame is broken. So anyone can waltz right in. This is a pretty safe area but this is a major issue. I noticed it broken Friday. They HAD to have seen it because they found the time to put flyers in our mailboxes. I submitted a work order. It's now Saturday night and it's still broken. And no one is in the office Sunday's so nothing will get fixed tomorrow. I'm so GLAD I live somewhere that doesn't value resident safety.

Whatever lies they tell you, don't fall for them. Moving here has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
