I love living here

Eagle Pond has been an amazing place to live. The ladies in the office and the maintenance staff have always been so kind. They have tons of amenities like a package locker, a garbage chute, and even laundry facilities on each floor. The building is secure so only people with key or access card can get it, there are even security cameras in every hall. I’ve never felt so safe living in an apartment in my life. The apartment that we have is so spacious with so much room for storage! I’ve never... even heard my neighbors once! Check this place out because it’s seriously the best.

Find Somewhere Else for the Money

The inside trash shoots are convenient, but lazy tenants can't fit some bags down the shoot-- so they just leave it outside of the shoot, stinking up the building. However, you can't entirely blame them because the only other way to access the trash is during completely stupid business hours of 8:30-5:30. So if you work those hours, you can't even access a dumpster.

That's right. There's ONE DUMPSTER, and it's in a LOCKED GARAGE.

I've spoken with them about putting at least one dumpster...
outside, but they said it wouldn't "look good."

Management is pouring money into making the place LOOK immaculate. Fixing the parking lot, painting the staircase, planting flowers, etc. Anything prospective renters will see.

But what we all can agree we REALLY need is new washers and dryers. We waste TONS of money on those useless machines and they REFUSE to compensate us for it. It also takes WEEKS for the machines to get fixed after we put in a work order, and then they break shortly after again anyway. There are no hookups in the apartment, so you have to use onsite facilities.

The management is horrible. They will bend over backwards to get you to rent an apartment, but once you're actually a tenant they won't help anyone with any problem-- big or small. If they've got you trapped into a contract, they feel no obligation to assist you. After all, there are waitlists for even the crappiest dumps in the area due to the population.

The carpeting is disgusting. There are stains every other foot of hallway. The whole building reeks as a result of all the pet accidents. People don't pick up after their pets inside or outside. In addition, people have 3 dogs in their apartments (max allowed is 2), and there are SO many dogs here, that the barking is nonstop all day every day.

The apartments are small. The windows are old and the screens don't fit. There are no hoses in the kitchen sinks. There are no lights in the bedrooms. Closet space is very minimal. Shoddy upgrades made by in-house staff left paint, glue, nails, etc. sticking out, on, and around new appliances/installations.

You have to use a key to get into the entrances of the building-- but the key doesn't fit into any of the locks right, so it takes all of us way too long to get doors open. There's no way to buzz visitors in, so you have to go downstairs to get them-- no pizza delivery to your door on the 4th floor!

Lease Changes

When I first moved into these apartments it was nice at first. Then I realized that they do what they want when they want if it wasn't in the lease when you signed it but they wanted to make it so you got little warning and before you know it you violated something. They continue raising the rent year after year and work there maintenance person to the bone. The also design schedule's as if nobody works a basic 9-5 job.

spacious kitchen,lots of closets,safe

I have been here 6 years and these apartments are spacious, big closets, big kitchen, great management, they recently put in a dog park. Allow large dogs. Any problems are taken care of right away. Only downside no washer and dryer in the unit, but a laundry on each floor. Lots of trees, and birds singing in the morning.

Renewing Lease

Lived here a year and the staff is great! Shirlee in the office is so sweet. Maintenance is quick and efficient with all issues we've had. Just built a fenced in area for the dogs. Pool area is nice, but cold and over building well maintained. Pretty quiet building for an apartment which is nice and people for the most part are friendly.
Down sides...fire alarms go off randomly which is hard on my poor old dog and people who have to sleep during the day. The hallways have an off and on smell....
Water takes forever to heat up and not included in rent, its added after like pet fee. Some bad dog owners need clean up after their pets and parking in the winter can be a little tough.
Overall very happy we live here just wish we had a washer/dryer in our apartment.
